It's a very cool h-game indeed, good gameplay and great scenes and you don't have to lose to be able of seeing them, if i had to make a complaint is that onigiris that are the method of healing that are dropped by the enemies are rare to drop so be careful.

It's hard to say. Sekiren looks amazing buts its gameplay gets tedious really quickly. Having to individually execute every enemy when they start coming in near-swarms is just kind of terrible. Sekiren also has a problem shared by many 16-bit games that were trying too hard to show off - long attack animations that leave you wide open (in a bad way) to all of the rather fast enemies.

While Yagiri seems better designed as a actual game but long stages + smut tied to getting hit do not mix well. At least the stage with the bondage orcs has checkpoints so that you don't lose all progress just to see an animation.

I tried this game just because I found out about sekiren and got my hopes up about another game like that. When I got to play it I didnt even feel like finishing it because of how slow and punishing everything seems to be. I will play it even if it is like that when it gets finished but I hope the game stops making me lose to can get a scene when there are no checkpoints.

sekiren hardly has any content.
Yagiri has a lot of variety and "losing" is hardly an issue, stages are separated in demos, and you can still cheat hp\undress values if they bother you that much.
The bees using yagiri as a disposable mating chamber is nothing but absolute peak.

Comparing games that are at vastly different stage of development is a bit of a clown event.
Sekiren is only 1,5 year into development, while Yagiri is a little over 3 years at this point.

The only situation when it would make sense is to compare if "older" game is not slogging too much (like Eromancer's Pure Onyx is, in comparison to a lot of other fighting games).

Now, much more fair comparison would be between first demos of Yagiri and current demo of Sekiren.
Yagiri had a workable prototype earlier but it was super barebones. Even if we take into account full-final demo of the first level and compare it to the current demo of Sekiren, we will also see that focus is different.

Yagiri to this day is 100% end-to-end sidescrolling platformer game. Sekiren meanwhile has some progression already baked in (Village area between missions). This Village area and progression system + much smoother animations kinda take away in h-content quantity...and that's fine. All of these are fine.

In the end, both games will be winners but with a vastly different focus and may not appeal to the same people (with Sekiren being an objectively more interesting fighting/movement system, with Yagiri having better and more diverse h-content).

Did you feel the irresistible urge to tag someone as a "clown"?
My comment simply pointed the facts of what we got now, to give anyone reading a rough idea of what to expect content-wise and added a workaround for an aforementioned inconvenience.
I didn't even try to put one above the other, something you felt tempted to do ("yagiri is simple, sekiren has progression") but ultimately chickened out of by just saying "both win".
What yagiri and sekiren were or will be is of utmost irrelevance to my point. As a matter of fact, nobody can tell what will become of either for certain, so any related comments are ultimately inconsequential.

Is your "aradia crossovers" banner referencing something specific?
