I think Auril's added Brandon with the prologue as a red herring, but my money was always on Albert just going rogue. Especially after that one end-of-chapter flashforward that had Kira hiding from the Bunny in their house, and Alice holding a knife as well iirc?

It's not what I tried first because I don't know why I would assume that's what you meant, but deleting either or both doesn't fix it either.

I had issues with no sound and my settings not sticking. I went to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\OST_GAME\Saved\SaveGames and deleted (I renamed because I'm overly cautious) the SettingsSave.sav file. After that, everything launched correct with sound and I could adjust settings.

The audio was weirdly blown out when I started and after I turned down the sliders that stopped. But the sliders don't seem calibrated very well. But I have audio and that's good enough for me.

Also, it was weird to hear Kira(?) speak in the minotaur game

I'm currently stuck midway through day 1. Got the pizza and everything but it will not let my spy on the neighbors and that's the next thing in the walkthrough. Binos are at the window already, not in inventory. Nothing else in the house to do other than repeatables, can't go to the game, just stuck. I can see them in the window, but cant get the interact to work.

It does work after you delete the old settings save. Dialogue is translated but some items aren't. French works for everything

I deleted the old language backups and they don't work.

Ive played most major updates to this for the last 3 - 4 years, and i gotta say this update is by the most buggy. And fanboys dont get defensive, im not saying that with criticism driving the intent, just stating a fact. kinda pissed me off though, im sporting a flash new GPU and less than a week later one of the hungry games ( this one) get an update and im all like "sweet lets see this bitch 4k more real than real mode" only to be cock blocked by bugs.
