Also stuck here, cannot click on the close button on either the main dialog or the tabbed exit button.
I attached my last save before the event chain leading to the videos scene for reference.

Try changing the game's resolutions around till a gray power button appears in the top-right corner to close it. The game scales weird, but a classic resolution of 1920x1080 should probably work most of the time if not, keep changing it till it appears.

Thank you Frank80085, this solved the issue. I am running it in windowed mode for now.
My screen's native resolution is 1680 x 1050, I think that caused the odd scaling.

The guide says to get dressed and walk out the front door to your neighbor's house.
But the front door won't open at all?

Push I. The game needs to fix this prompt, as it's the first time you use an inventory item and the game hasn't mentioned this yet, but yeah. Push I to open your inventory, then use the item from there.

Idle curiosity, does this take place Before or After House Party, since it's clearly the same house?
