I never just assume anything, cause it could be just that...anything. They could just lose interest and ghost it. They could get so confused at all the bugs and give up trying to fix it (which is actually what I had read happened, years ago). There are many possible reasons for a game to discontinue.

I would like to know how far you all have come.
I got as far as hiring women, helping women, fighting after helping, hiring men and nothing else....

For now, dorms have no effect, there is no need to build more than the default.

Hygiene, morale and stamina have no effect, women can continue working indefinitely.

Showers and rest room do not stack, only 10 points per day, so there is no need to build more than one. But as I said before, they have no effect on the game.

The security room and the gloryhole do not work or at least I don't have the event that activates them.

I didn't get any event with Alice, except the intro.

Wow, I'm hyped! Loved the game in its day. Always found the gameplay loop fun.
Demo looks very promising! True to the original. Very nice production quality in my eyes.
Looking forward to the next update. Heck, I'd even consider supporting on Patreon.

it really do be during/after the holidays that you're really reminded of the mortality of people. like you favorite smut artist or game developer disappeared and you get a little angry only to one day learn they got fucking crippled or died.

No, it's an original game - a remake of an original game, that's old as balls. It was one of the great classics of the porn flash game era but the original dev passed away apparently, leading to it being very incomplete. This is a remake of it.
