The assistant looks a lot worse than the original. Design wise I think a lot of the proportions are unsettling compared to the original Simbro.

Waiting with anticipation on this one. Wouldn't it be counterproductive to have skull zombie and a zombie killer on the same team? Sounds like there is going to be an HR meeting every other day... or ED&I if you are unfortunate to have one where you work as well. (Used to just all be HR...would rather my company use the money for more ice machines)

It works like anything you create. If you have any material saved, on any external, computer, tablet, phone, or cloud, anywhere, and that material is date and time stamped, then you have evidence that you had possession of that material as of the date and time that was stamped on your files. If your files predate the other person's files, then you can pursue such a case.
Thing is...who is going to actually go to court over something like a porn game, on a pirate site, that likely wasn't bringing in any money? ...especially if whatever little money it DID make was less than the cost of court/lawyers?
I don't see ANYONE taking ANYONE to court over this. The original creator abandoned it, anyway.

i agree but i also do not consider this a piracy site as i doubt many copyrights claimed by devs here would stand up.
a capable solicitor would break them if they involve open sourced material like daz3d or renpy here in UK. i can imagine the arguments for others too.
still, only food for thought as i doubt anyone has that level of petty and bottomless pockets to find out, and this site continues to go strong

Do you have testicles instead of eyes??? She looks exactly the same, but drawn better. The design is significantly better than the bare-bones character models from the original. Take off those rose tinted glasses.

Hmm, I've always wondered if this kind of "rework" doesn't bring copyright issues with the original devs... And btw, what engine is this?

Looks like they are using original art and original programming, if I were them, I'd rename the game (and character names) to something else and say it's "inspired" by simbro and then everything should be quite safe.

How Is The Remake Going To Be Different From The Original?
Aside from the art, engine, and UI, we don't plan to change much about the game. However, we do plan to rewrite a ton of the story. This doesn't mean the story will change significantly. It only means we plan to have a more cohesive and polished story. We love the original, but the writing was all over the place. We want to see the same story told but in a better way.

If I recall correctly, you could alter the looks of people in the OG game and Alice was the target for corruption in the game, so, while she doesn't look that different, just more detailed, they can use the game systems to corrupt her into something more hoish.

They don't have to take it to the court... one complain to the mods and they agree on a copyright violation and the game is banned from here... no public exposure is the death of any game these days.
Though the Question is indeed wether the mods would actually accept an abondened project as some copyright holder... afterall this isn't the first remake on this site
