Yeah, and then there are people like myself who keep coming back here wishing the game wasn't dead. lol. This game had so much potential. As incomplete as it was, it was still great.

I was just airing my grief. lol
The developer just abandoned it, not much is known why, though it's very likely that the original developer (Marune) stopped working on the game and someone continued the project. That person ran it to the ground by not adding anything of value and constant delays. Yeah it was hyped af back in the day, pretty sure they were hitting 14k+ a month at their peak, they just stopped caring and no one continued the project.
can someone good at makin games revive simbro? there are plenty of modders in the world im sure someone would do it, i hope so
People have taken a look at it but the code and design is just too fucked up that you'd need to restart from scratch.

I can't understand how they are gaining new patrons, they were gaining like 700 dollars but now is 800 dollars.

Why so far no one has made a remake of this game? Seriously, if I had extra money for graphic , I would have made a copy of this game a long time ago.

The 2 reasons are stated above:
- the code is garbage. Better to start a new project, stealing the idea (which was stolen itself anyway)
- if any good-willing idiot fixes the mess, Devs will simply steal it back as their own work, and they'll gain more $$$ from other misinformed idiots
OK, using the current code is idiocy. But you can create it from scratch using a different engine. For example, Renpy.
Seriously, the main difficulty is to draw sex animations for the characters, because it's expensive (for me, at least).
But as for the rest - EASY.

If someone were to make a copy of this game they would always be compared to the cunts that took over during the later stages of this game. They would constantly be judged "it's not at good as simrbo was" and "you're just like the old devs, money hungry". Better to just start their own project with no ties to this game.
