Ha! After our back and forth I opened it up a few minutes ago, from what I recognise it's a good list that I agree a lot with (though there's many I've got downloaded but not finished yet, even older ones like Acting Lessons or Leap of Faith). Not sure which are Fem Protag, as a lot I'm recognising are Male Protag. Oh, since it popped up on the main page today but I see it isn't on your list, have you tried Chasing Sunsets? Definitely up there with Mythos (forgot that you can be M or F protag) for writing quality. Though now I'm seeing Bare Witness isn't on your list, so I could infer that the incest tag may be a turn-off for you.

I'm keeping that tab open though, to give it a closer look later. I know some games (on F95) looked great to me, but I can't push past RPGM mechanics, which is a shame. But I imagine there's a lot beyond the ones I already know I like that will work for me.

I'm not necessarily against FP with corruption (though it's not my preference), some great games like Beauty and the Thug or The Survival of Sarah Rose have elements of that in them, and the writing is top notch.

To be clear and never come back to this again, does Murphy's route involve Jenny becoming her pet or something like that? Will she not have the opportunity to take revenge in the future? If so, I just did a second playthrough ahead of time without peeking, because fuck that crazy bitch I don't even like redheads.

The truth is I doubted that Jenny would become Murphy's pet, it's still too early to say what she really wants because we still don't know her completely, maybe she just wants to intimidate Jenny to keep her secret or maybe she really is a bitch crazy sadistic dominant and wants to take advantage of her, if it is the latter this would perhaps serve to involuntarily discover whether Jenny has a submissive streak or not, as for getting rid of Murphy it would be as easy as confronting her since blackmail only works if you allow it or in If Emma is submissive, she would come to the rescue, so I don't think it will escalate too much in the plot.

I think I see now, you have standards, like realism, to meet the threshold. I was more thinking of the text/dialogue and if the story managed to be good time. Those are definitely different ducks!

I just finished playing everything out so far, and I'm really enjoying this game! I'll admit, I'm still not the biggest fan of the constant wide angle shots, but it seems to be an artistic choice. In my opinion, the persistant distance between the camera and the characters makes scenes feel a little impersonal, so it took longer for me to identify with and grow an attachment to the characters.

Luckily, the writing is really solid, which helps a lot in pulling you into the Jenny's world. There are some small gramatical errors, but they're all pretty minimal and don't detract from the story being told. The dialogue, in particular, is really well done. The snappy conversations feel very realistic and I love the relationship between Jenny and Emma. I'm doing the lesbian path and I'm 100% locked in on Emma. I'm willing to overlook the fact that her parents are definitely up to something nefarious and possibly have some involvement in what's going on with Jenny. I just want Jenny to get away from Carl and Amanda and live happily in the pool house with Emma.

Also, I'm normally a team redhead kinda guy, but damn Murphy is scary. That situation in the bathroom stall went from 0-100 fast. I really hope we get an opportunity later to stand up to her and get some retribution because she crossed the line by a mile. I'm glad to see the dev mentioned that they are going to give us an opportunity to fight back to some degree in that scene. I really like seeing Jenny grow more confident and assertive, so her getting off to being sexually dominated is not a direction I want "my Jenny" to go in.

Looking forward to see what happens next! I'm always happy to see more well-written, story-focused games.

Episode 4 have been updated - v1.3.1 BETA

I have decided to rewrite the Murphy bathroom scene in Episode 4, and by that I don't mean I've deleted it entirely. I understand this kind of graphic content (SA) can be triggering for some people and because there were no warning this is where this path was heading I've decided to give players more of a choice in this part to make sure we're all on the same page and enjoying the game.

This inevitably means that I had to add a new variable that splits this Murphy path and you will have to rollback to before the bathroom scene in episode 4, not episode 2 (for the pervs who spied on Murphy... I guess that means everyone?! ) to prevent bugs with future content.

There are some more scenes in this episode I'd like to improve upon, but that won't mean any changes to the variables overall, and it will have to wait until the full release of season 1 sometime in january next year.

I also realized there weren't that many choices at all this episode compared to the previous one, and that's mostly because the earlier ones was setting up for this one and the next one. What was lacking in this regard was definitely choices in dialogue, so I'll make a clear effort on improving this part in the coming episodes and add more in this one for the full season release.

- Enable the developer console using UnRen (Windows, Mac/Linux)
- Load up your save after the stalls scene (in episode 4, not earlier!) and open the console with Shift + O
- If you want to continue with Murphy, copy & paste the following to the console:

Well that murphy route scene was good. I do wonder if it could end in dom/sub relationship between jenny and her.

I liked the new update. The main characters seem to be getting a lot of depth and I love the Jenny x Emma dynamic, as they have strong canon couple energy.

I don't mind the Murphy scene, since it's not often you see another girl be the aggressor in a situation like that. There seem to be missing slides though. The text says that Murphy kissed Jenny, for example, and yet it was not depicted.

It's very cool to see a dev incorporating changes so quickly from community feedback. Thanks Barbiecued! I'm keeping two saves to see how that decision will affect Jenny's relationship with Murphy going forward.

By the way, the term for when someone is getting money for free without any work is "mooching" not "smooching". Emma said it after the pool scene this update and I think it was used another time before that. Smooching is another term for kissing. I don't think thats what you're intending to say when Emma says, "I plan on smooching off Daddy all my life." Though that would certainly make for an interesting twist...

very good game ruined by font visibility. lots of text is forcing your eyes to max extent and causing headache. in the end, to spare my eyes, i started to skip text which is bad since game is well written. in fact it is not porn game but serious mystery with adult content. adding excellent bright, colorful renders, it makes more pity that such experience is ruined by so trivial stuff like being able to read story.
it is not problem of this dev only. several devs are doing same shit. why it is sooo hard to add in settings option to add black subtitle background track (llke choices are made) and option to enlarge/bold font?

it is not problem of this dev only. several devs are doing same shit. why it is sooo hard to add in settings option to add black subtitle background track (llke choices are made) and option to enlarge/bold font?

You have to make a customized slider for that, but it's more about the fact that the dialogue box hides almost 1/4th of the screen, which is why some devs prefer to do it this way.

The solution offered above works well, but I was already planning on adding a textbox with a bit more shade in the backround for the next release.

If anyone is savvy and know how to add images to the packs by themselves, I'll attached the file along with this post.
