well i never played that version so i dont know all, but kids in general, running, future growing up, maybe births, no clue. P version is made with their rules in mind in case if someone would had issues with those.

Try deleting the game and unzipping it again. If you restarted your PC and it still doesn't open, download it again.

syringe is only usable in bdsm and only on secret, and beyond blue pills that you can now pick there too, thats all.
for campaign, if you meet with minister - went to office - payed maria cash for campagn and visit manager on airport after for 50k weekly income - thats end of that story to. for now.
you can always check changlog aka progress log, to see whats new.
