The testing phase of v0.19.5 is currently in progress, it shouldn't take too long before it's released for the higher tiers (and later to the other ones before some Good Samaritan eventually uploads it here).

saves should be working so that should matter, if you worry that you might lose saves by changing make backup of them 1st.
cause devs version doesnt get public and your only hope to get to is when someone leaks it and seems doesnt happen often and on top of that you can hope that whom ever does is full version.
or you can simply grab compressed and use joiplay, that way you can alway get recent
