It seems you click too fast and your PC didn't load properly the video/image. It's Ren'Py engine problem.

I was playing with "auto" so I was not clicking anything and, of course, I didn't consider Ren'py engine. Perhaps I will try to reduce the auto-speed....

Sorry to bother you mate but also reducing the speed the problem still exist. Am I the only one who reportet this issue ?
Could it be that you, intentionally, didn't associete images to all the dialogues and I was supposed to see a black screen? I really don't know what else to think about it

You are the only one who has this issue.
If image/video is missing, the game engine gives error (and you don't have error).
In your case the image/video is there but your PC can't show/play.

No idea what device/OS you are using. Are you playing the original game or not.

Yup, I am playing with Gofile download from page 1 (but I tried all of them) - for PC, Windows (11), game version 0.19.7. I will try in another laptop to see if I get better luck or run the game as administrator, or something else...I don't know. It's weird. Never happened with any other VN Ren'py. Thanks anyway
