Have you considered a work around for Patreon TOS for incest? Like a patch for example hosted outside of Patreon on discord or something, or even a subscribestar exclusive? I see a lot of very popular games on here, some of which are doing extremely well like summer time saga for example with 33k members.

I feel like an incest tag would help a lot with marketing in general it's extremely popular on here and the VN space as I'm sure you're aware.

Also, isn't sleep sex which is in the game, against their TOS anyway?

Sorry if this has been answered before, or if I'm misinterpreting your reason for not including incest in the game. It's just that I see a lot of games doing that and they are all on patreon. Kind of bummer that it isn't in this game especially with how many people have shown interest in it.

Each developer is solely responsible for their own game.
While not every game will be immediately flagged, violations that are discovered will result in the immediate and permanent deletion of the account and the game without any option for recovery.
Furthermore, the developer will lose all established support, which has taken years to build.

The incest tag we are discussing is a significant red flag. Recent major changes—such as "Summer Time Saga" transitioning from a mother character to a landlady—should give a clear indication that this is not an imaginary risk.

This particular character (we know which one) in SimpleDays is not even that important, and players often lose interest once they acquire the forbidden fruit.
The risk of losing everything over one controversial and meaningless character is simply too great.

so some reason current version started freaking on on trying to load it waiting on new version and see if it actually loads right. also i wish the in house menu for newer house was like the original one in always showing the girl menu showing preg days on it and get confused on when it is nighttime making knocking girls up harder while game would still load.

First of all I respect whatever decision you make so feel free to take my opinion with a grain of salt.

IMO it's a bit short sighted to view it only as appeasing fans with one character. It's undeniable that the tag is insanely popular in the adult VN space. Adding it would expand the reach of the game, introducing it to a much broader audience and potentially exponentially increase revenue by a large margin.

I'd challenge you to think about it through the following lens, instead it being a way of appeasing a small amount of existing supporters, could it be a way to create an influx of new ones who otherwise would never be introduced to the game?

I say this not as a fan of the game who is upset that it isn't being added, but as someone who has scaled brands massively in revenue. One of the skills I have developed in marketing is pattern recognition. It's quite apparent that in this space incest is a HUGE focal point, you can confirm this by searching by the tag and looking at the engagement. Also at the conversion of views on a game to paid supporters. The allure of forbidden fruit is what draws people in, whether or not there is longevity once it is fulfilled is a separate discussion. Human psychology yearns for the taboo.

Would you need to use a method to circumvent TOS, yes. I'd also argue it's smart to diversify off Patreon in general, they could update TOS tonight and outright ban adult VN's. I've worked with people making 7 figures on social media lose their platform unfairly. I've personally lost a gross amount of money unfairly. Nothing in life is certain. Unfortunately we are at the mercy of these platforms. Building an email list, discord, SMS list is smart in general.

Also the non consensual sleep sex thing is to my knowledge a red flag as well, I can't see how it wouldn't be. Surely worse than a mother in law character which is only truly incest through semantics anyways, but that's just a petty nitpick.

Regardless though, just some food for thought, do your thing.
