Walkthrough is useless, none of the choices have any lasting impact.
Most of the choices just change a few lines of text, and a few choices give you different scenes.

after starting the game for first time after clicking ignore never pop up again WT and patch works fine (i use compressed version of the game) so idk whats up with that weird error but thanks for mod

The simple mod without Ipatch is working fine, so there must be something wrong with the Ipatch.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the mod, just with people's reading comprehension, apparently.
Why is the WT without the i-patch over 10 times the size of the one with the patch?

So the dialog in Melanie's sex scene with MC was changed to reflect that she was a virgin, even though it was only one line that doesn't really imply she's a virgin? Is she actually a virgin then? I read in the thread that she banged some random guy in a party before? What's that all about?
But even if the dialog was changed, the scene itself doesn't match the vibe of a girl drowning in love and having her first time taken right there. If Angel is insisting that interactions with the types of LIs like Melanie should be more romantic then I'd expect her to lose her virginity in a more traditionally intimate position not like some whore being bent over a table in doggystyle.

She wasn't a virgin originally, but a certain group of purity-obsessed trigglypuffs threw a tantrum and harassed the dev until it got changed. So now she's a virgin. It is what it is. Welcome to F95.

Interesting. Thanks for the reply! Am i right to assume that even though the dialog was changed, the scene was kept as is? If so, I wouldn't mind it being out of place for concern of the dev's time spent and budget as those two winged bimbos say in-game.
I just had the exact same issue with the compressed version, the WTp mod I guess has dupe lines but the errors only happen once at the start.

its coz i made the non-patch version first and included the rpyc files too (which are generally bigger), whereas the patch version is made all over again with patched script file which didn't include the rpyc files. I could have made it smaller but I'm lazy.
Ah that makes sense. Just wanted to make sure there was a reason and that the files hadn't been mislabeled or something.
I glance over install instructions because they are all the same.
And i never even read or touched your post/file because i went straight for the walkthrough mod with it included.
If you get triggered for users reporting a benign error, then blame Ripson for not putting it in red or yellow in his post for better visibility.
Besides, this duplicate line error has only ever happened with your i-patch across all the games i've played from here.

The error you're encountering is entirely due to how the Ren'Py engine works. Ripson included the link to my mod. All you had to do was follow it and read the instructions. This is 100% on you and no one else who refuses to put in even the bare minimum effort. But, of course, why bother doing that when it's so much easier to write yet another useless post complaining instead?

This isn't working for version 6, for me. Got new version (v6), deleted old files, had a parsing error when loading with mod installed. Deleted entire file and redownloaded VN. Worked fine without mod. Downloaded mod again, same parsing error. Got rid of any leftover files, same parsing error. Not sure what/if I'm doing something wrong. Says there's an issue with parsing the Dialogue.rpy file then something with the rpyc file. I don't work with Python so I have no idea what any of that means.
