The product comes first then the money.

You build trust by delivering a product then the investors and sponsorships come. That's literally how life works, you don't get paid for an idea (especially one that's been beaten to death in this space) unless you have credibility and a reputation for your body of work.

Reputation and brand name is important for credibility and integrity, it shows investors they are willing to part ways with their money to support a product or service they trust.

This trust was never built with this game, it was hot and cold throughout its whole production life cycle.

There was a point where he was making 2000$ a month. But then he just stopped and naturally thay would drop.
