Adding on the previous post about tutorial, as a new player trying this game for the first time, (and only having got all the girls to the first obsession/intimacy spy "gate", so there may be "deeper" content I'm missing) here's what I learned/my experience:
- Gameplay loop: primarily peeking to increase obsession, unlocking new cards. Also dating to increase intimacy, managing to increase authority + install spy gear. Dating costs money; managing costs money + possibly spy gear + optionally money (tool kits). Lots of grind.
- In the early game, save all your money for adding new tenants. Use the $1000/pick 1 of 2 option as often as it unlocks to keep adding tenants. Consider using the $3000/pick 1 of 3 to speed up the growth. Each tenant gives ~$80-150 rent/week (call it $100+ average), so will pay off in 10 weeks ($1000 pick) or 30 weeks ($3000 pick) and then is straight profit. (Note: even if there are girls you don't want in your harem long-term, the economy payoff is IMHO worth it to keep them around short-term.)
- Once you've got a decent economy (at least $3,000/week), buy all 8 spy slots (click on "Spy"), 8 cameras, and ~15 tool kits (go right from the primary game screen, to Under. In the Manage screen, temporarily* hire the janitor that increases your tenant selection x2 (from 2 tenants to 4) and go install the 8 cameras on girls you want to ramp up their obsession. Start spying on them, using your spy actions to unlock the camera tree (+2/3/4/5 obsession per peek). (*Note: after installing the cameras/other spy gear, fire the janitor and don't pay the weekly cost. Only hire the janitor for when you're managing the girls.)
- Install wires on all your tenants(from what I understand, wire installation yields +10 obsession/peek bonus), then keep installing cameras on the rest, and finally smart trackers. Focus on "wire installed" + "camera tree spying maxed" + "rent increased to max" to maximise income. Try to get to $5,000/week+ quickly, and start saving $30,000 to get your first spy module upgrade (2 tokens per spy cycle, up from 1).
- Every rent renewal, spend obsession to increase the tenant's rent up to the cap. Once a tenant is at the rent cap, and after maxing out the camera spy tree on her, then start spying thru the wire tree and tracker tree.
- Max out all spy modules ($30,000 upgrade for each, then $60,000 upgrade), first unlocking max camera tree for each girl (to maximise obsession gain per peek, which translates to increased rent), and then spying the other trees. Once you've got most of the spy gear installed on most of the girls, start using gifts to increase the appearance chance for the girls that don't yet have all the gear.
- Once you've got all the spy modules upgraded to 3x tokens per cycle, and all the spy gear installed on every tenant, start using dates to increase intimacy. Focus on one girl at a time; figure out what topics she likes (or use
this guide) and get her intimacy level up to the minimum to advance her past the first spy gate (level 2, I think?)
- At this point, you should be earning ~$12-15,000/week; you can choose to drop tenants if you want, 'cause (after maxing out all the spy modules) the need for high income is gone. Also, dropping the tenants you don't want means there's a smaller pool to peek from, so you can raise obsession faster on the girls you want to see.

That process took me ~6 hours; I'm curious if it would take less time knowing what I know now. From that point, the economy is taken care of and (I guess?) it's just a spy/peek grind to get the rest of the content? Idk, from reading the other replies/posts on this thread there isn't much to do.
