Hmmm...shaping up nicely...overall I like it.
However, far too much overuse of the mom/son (or whatever terms you use)...every other sentence is seriously overkill...
At the bar...what can I get you lovely ladies? Umm....
There are numerous instances of the MC thinking to himself but not in brackets....
Shiny MC underwear...just no...no no no....
Constant 'surprised' expressions are a little jarring.
Dept...should be Debt also btw.
Overall not bad though, look forward to seeing where it goes.
