I don't get this. I think you underappreciate how many insecure incels gravitate to games like these. They are looking for a power fantasy, not a drama. They want an 'alpha male' who will claim women without much hassle. This is why so many of the people denouncing the MC are also super-fixated on the virginity and fidelity of the female characters. Even in this thread you've seen people being jealous of other women, literal dildos, and even the woman in question's own fingers!

You sort of have to chose here which group of fans/players you want to placate - because the aforementioned group of players want a wholly different game from someone like me who want to see lots of love and sex with and among all parties involved in the relationship once the taboo is overcome.

It's already interesting.

I hate it because there are already too many power fantasy games in my opinion. I hate the games where you jump in and it's just a porn where the guy controls their mind or manipulates the girls into sex. No character development, really. It's like ending a story with "and then he woke up" in a child's school essay.

Also I think I made it pretty clear that he's shy, responsible, thinks about the future, has no experience, is afraid, feels guilty, etc.

But that's exactly what I want. I've written several times that I understand his dilemmas. But he deserves more screen time. And he and we need to finally start trying to embrace the situation. Because so far, it's starting to look like a pattern - something happens, somewhere in the background a conflict glows, he starts to self-despise and self-blame, and in a shallow grave he buries emotions that will come to the surface again. It looks like he is running away from the problem, he doesn't try to understand what is actually going on around him. He simply floats from scene to scene.

You know that I love your project and cheering hard. This is also the last thing I want, to sound like someone who is going to lecture you or demand something. I just expressed my opinion and how I feel.

I've already said that this is totally a Lyna show. Erik, conflicted, insecure, immature, is a side-kick. He shouldn't even be a main character, as long as he stays that way.

He's horny, yeah, but he doesn't even do anything about it. Not without feeling "guilty". He can't even accept his own feelings and thoughts. He thinks them, but, doesn't accept them. Not only is he being annoying as a character, in this dance of 1 step forward - 2 steps back shuffle, he is being dishonest. Above all with himself.

Right now, Erik is the single contender in the "Character most likely to die in the story", and from what we can see, he would leave a bit of sadness, at least on the players part.

He needs to go on a journey, a long walk around the Island, by the sea, alone with his thoughts. Reach some level of decisiveness, of gumption, of clarity, of acceptance. In short, he needs to do what his twin already did, grow up. This Peter Pan Syndrome case, is getting on my patient-but-not-much brain. Now, he even has his Mommy. :: Throws arms in the air ::

Ruykiru nice writing. While I may get exasperated by Erik, I recognize that it is a well done job, you are "herding" us gently to where you need us. I KNOW you have a plan. We can't see it yet, but it is clear that this is intentional and crafted that way on purpose. Keep going.
