what i dont get...what is the problem with NOPY that you dont use this to DL the new parts?! not everybody likes to have an account at every DL-site....so everything bigger then 3Gb is a hassle at mega and the rest are they even safe other then slow...whatever think thats it with this vn for now...no new content and no useable dl-link....shame cause i liked this one for real...

Devs have to make sure they dont neglect your current players when they do that. Current supporters might not keep paying for several months without any content while the Dev changes past content. Lets not forget those supporters are the ones paying for this change made for "new players" (and no, i am not one of those supporters)

You either do it slow, while also providing new content on each update you fix some past content, or you do it after the game is completed.

I think its a mistake to change old content when you are not really fast at providing new content too.

But hey, its the Dev's decision of course

Yeah, i dont get this. Seriously, all those DL sites are crap compared to NOPY and Mega, dont even know why some uploaders use them before providing a link to mega AND nopy first

from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11 ), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

I am not really butthurt, there are enough games and i lke this game, since i am not one of the supporters i will just wait.

I am kind of sad because i have seen enough games die after they try to go back and change things and then lose support and motivation. I hope that doesnt happen.

That's why i said in my post that the best way is to do it without stopping the new content or at the end.

Anyway, to me this game is worth waiting, i hope it is to more people

You have to copy all previous files(saves) from
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\SingleAgain-Save
To
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\SingleAgainCHP1-Save
That's all. ALL(!) saves are working correctly.

I thought I read on the chanlog that we will have to replay this update since old saves won't work for future release? I might be wrong.

Does anyone know if the beginning of chapter 2 will appear in the next update? I don't want to be rude, but I also don't want to replay the whole game from the beginning for some small bug fixes which are not essential to be able to advance towards the end of the game or a few small scenes that do not change the evolution of the game in the end...

indeed.. not the end of the world or anythng.. Dude thinks every1 is going crazy over this lol..

its just.. disapoiting.. There were other good games that did that and i simply ended up forgetting about them.. others took so long that when they came back to the part i was playing before, i had already lost interest because i forgot everything about the characters and story xD.

I've lost track of how many games I've dropped because I don't have the patience to replay a game... Oh well, I guess I'll add this one to my list!
