How do I use chmod to open game on Mac?

+some characters like Nessa are really hot
+animations of the scenes not top notch but very good

- no sound
- many unattractive characters
- side characters get not much attention
- very slow burn of interesting paths like the baby path

I quite like this one but I have to agree about poor Meiko. Not sure what happened to her. Body of an angel but looks like she got dropped on her face at birth. I don't mind her path, she's a shy girl being pulled out of her shell quite rapidly. Going from a virgin to what amounts to a harem in a few days is a bit of a step up (or down depending on your point of view)!
I don't know what all those pixie/fairy things are supposed to be. Some sort of dream sequence? Possibly the MC's first wife guiding him? I can't tell, I just skipped over those scenes...
I just hope that Lillith can get over her aversion to 'being with' her sister. That's a threesome I'm looking forward to...

if we also consider that, with a 99% chance that becca is frank's biological daughter while abby is not...also, in this last update, abby played hard, with a joke about putting a baby in her belly, by frank. very easily, in the next updates (hopefully soon), we will see abby, informed (or maybe she will find out by chance), of frank's relationship with lilith, with the obvious explanations regarding the "other" relationships. i think we will see again the same situation that was seen when frank confessed that he was not abby's biological father.

How do I use chmod to open game on Mac?

For any Ren'py game on Mac where you get the "can't be opened" alert, the permissions on the executable file inside the app package are likely incorrect. This happens sometimes. You can fix this by doing this:

1. Right-click on the game application. In the popup menu, there will be an item to open the Terminal at the folder. The location of this item and the exact wording varies depending on what version of MacOS you are running. On MacOS Sonoma, there is a Services submenu with the item "New Terminal at Folder".

2. The Terminal app will open with the current directory set to the application package folder. In the Terminal app, type this
chmod +x Contents/MacOS/*
and press Return

3. This will change the permissions to make the files executable. chmod is the unix command meaning "change mode". +x means to add the executable flag. You can quit the Terminal app after doing this.

4. Run the game application by right-clicking and choosing "Open". You need to do this the first time instead of just double-clicking because MacOS will not run an unsigned app that way. You may need to do this twice if MacOS complains about an app from an unknown developer. After the first time running the game, you can just double-click to run.

Is anyone else having issues getting the game to download with Gofile? I click the download button and instead of opining the save as window it starts a redirect and then says it can't connect.

I've tried different browsers and still no luck.

Just Apple things. You can get around it by running a couple terminal commands. Google is your friend here.

I enjoy the game but it's getting really frustrating to maybe get two updates a year. Mostly because the developer decides to waste time on side stories that most people don't really care about. It's taken years to get to the point where he's finally getting his harem and possibly developing a sexual relationship with Abby. Only to take up damn near 6 months for the Fairy story and then Becca's side story.

People are even more insecure than Frank is, which is funny because the overlap between those people and the people calling Frank a wimp isn't low. Since it was established very early on that Lilly and Abby are a thing it shouldn't really be a surprise that Frank supports it since Patre... I mean he still has quite a problem with the adopted daughter/father thing. For me personally, it was the introduction for a Frank-Abby-Lilly scene. I personally think that if generally only one party is allowed to be angry: Abby. Just think of the advice Frank has given Lilly in previous updates. Or just the fact that Frank and Lilly have a parallel thing going on while they both know what Abby wants but are willfully ignoring it. And the combination of the two previous sentences.

Personally, I think a veeeeeeeeery upset Abby is the only legitimate development. The only one she probably wouldn't be upset with is probably Meiko, since she's had a crush on Frank for a very long time and was blackmailed into silence by Becca.

Those are basically my thoughts as well. Honestly I've enjoyed the game as a whole but I still hate the censorship decisions for the relation between Abby and Frank. I actually like the dynamic with Becca and Lily not being his, it just felt completely out of place for Abby to be adopted.

Dunno why not, I often dl 100GB games just fine. Slow connection and daily limits just slow it down, not stop it. Just hit dl and do something else for a couple of days. Kids these days. I remember when dl'ing a 4.7GB movie (raw DVD dump when encryption was first cracked in 1998ish on Usenet) took about 2-3 weeks just to watch for 1.5-2 hours because I was stuck with 56k dial up (had to get a 2nd line to not block all my phone calls).
