I honestly find Lily the least appealing of the sisters. She's just so snarky all the time and quick to take offence. Even at the times she shows rare glimpses of affection, it doesn't feel genuine.

To me, she's a cat. And as I mentioned in another thread, cats are basically assholes that just get way with being assholes on account of looking cute. I mean if they looked like porcupines humans would have probably not adopted them in the first place.

Sure she can show affection and you kind of want to adopt her and protect her, but at the same time, when you least expect it and for the most trivial of reasons, she'll also scratch you, bite you, knock that vase you inherited from aunt Delilah off the coffee table.

And she's built like a cat too. Slim and sinewy and probably able to slip through the smallest of spaces.

I don't hate her. I mean I can love cats just fine as long as they belong to other people and know their boundaries.

Lucy, which I totally love, was the only reason why in the beginning I kept playing that game. The problem with that game is that there is no conflict. The story is just a happily ever after. Lucy at least kept it interesting for a while but after some time she also join MC's harem and it was just too much for me. Pure happy stories where everything is rainbows, sunshine and unicorns can never keep me interested. As I always say, there is a reason why stories END with "and they lived happily ever after". It is because no conflict=no story to tell.

Abby is more like a dog. Loyal, loving , adores you not just emotionally but also instinctively and maybe even more than emotionally, she increasingly looks ready, willing and able to hump you. Not the brightest bulb of the pack, but hey, love is love as love is.

The problem with Abi is precisely that she is NOT like a dog. Dogs are loyal beyond doubt. Never have my dogs doubted I love them. She made you sleep with her drunk and automatically assumes that you, her loving father that has done nothing to protect her, was trying to take advantage. No other posible explanation whatsoever.
In the last update she learns she is not your daughter and acts like it is the end of the world and even when you did nothing more than love her, she treats you like garbage. How the hell is MC's fault that her real father was a douche? If anything, she should love MC more for how he raised her as his.

I would understand her reaction if it was just the discovery of being adopted, but when it is joined with the drunk wake up reaction, it is harder for me to forgive. But sure, let me be the nice father and understand that she is has to grow up.

And it is not that I dislike her, I just think that compared to the other too, she is not in a good position. Becca is amazing and I find Lilith's distrust of MC at least justifiable, given her daddy issues.

But hey, I understand not everybody likes conflict. If you just wanna have people hugging and telling you that they love you without any effort whatsoever, it is fine.

Alternatively, if you are looking for a specific genre, I can almost surely recommend something.

I called it quits on MNF after this last update, just too “squee! Everyone fucks the MC and it is awesome! Squee!”

as for Beth, I am just too weirded out by the whole situation. Especially as her wife doesn’t seem thrilled by the idea of Beth fucking Frank. This why my MC hasn’t fucked anything besides his trusty right hand in the entire game.

I actually enjoyed MNF quite a lot in the beginning. But at some point I found myself skipping dialogue and I only do that when the novel has become boring. In the beginning, you have as subplot getting Lucy to open up. But once it happens, that's it.
I think I quit the novel when we get to meet Grandma. It had become too much at that point.

Back to Single Again. I am not sure what will happen with the les couple. They are great, but the one that we did not fuck did make it clear, it is under her rules. And she is lesbian, not bi. So there is that problem.

I mentioned before that what I would like to see is Beth getting pregnant without her wife's aproval. That would be a nice problem for MC and Beth to have. We'll see what the game brings.
