Looks like it. 1.23 came out 21 April, whereas 1.22 was late December. Looks like CNG has got the balance ideal atmNoice.
That seems fast, doesn't it? I probably missed the sneak peek too.
There was no sneak peek for the upcoming update yet.Noice.

The first expected release he posted was for it to release this week. He's also slowly working on the standalone stories for Becca and Abby.so soon? current update came roughly month ago.
He said he wants to do smaller but more frequent updatesso soon? current update came roughly month ago.
Why leave Beth out of it?Used this update to restart. Still enjoying it a lot. Just one thing that bothers me especially since you see it more and more in other VNs: Don't put in choices you don't want people to take and then ignore them.
In my case I rejected Beth every single time, no peaking no nothing. Later dialogues still treat it as if banged every single time.
So either give us the choice to say no and treat it as such or simply do not make it a selection.
I could think of quite a few reasons, and possibly originally it was intended to make it possible but now the story narrowed down a bit (some stuff wouldn't work without a special connection to Beth I think, or at the very least be even more implausible than it already is).Why leave Beth out of it?
I think that CNG didn't had a behind story for Beth and Nessa, Beth was introduced as "quick fuck" while we wait for Lilith&Becca. After they become practically main (side) character part of his story, CNG couldn't just let them go away... When CNG tried to imagine continuation of the story without Beth and Nessa he realized his mistake and he just let them be there as integrating part of the story.I could think of quite a few reasons, and possibly originally it was intended to make it possible but now the story narrowed down a bit (some stuff wouldn't work without a special connection to Beth I think, or at the very least be even more implausible than it already is).
And I can sympathize, I stopped a different game (to have no discussions about the merits of any individual character) where you can turn down (almost?) everybody, however those who I picked didn't seem to have gotten the message at all and dialogue is wonky as well. I wouldn't even have minded too much if they were enforced in the first place, but getting a choice, making it, and then ignoring it is - except for rare circumstances where it becomes immediately clear that you'll have to go a certain route - offputting and distracting.
Since I didn't reject Beth here I cannot say though how it is handled and whether it even may be a bug and not the "canon occurence".
Exactly this.I wouldn't even have minded too much if they were enforced in the first place, but getting a choice, making it, and then ignoring it is - except for rare circumstances where it becomes immediately clear that you'll have to go a certain route - offputting and distracting.
Agreed 100%Exactly this.
In regards to why, I myself treat VNs like naughty/kinky Create-your-own-Adventure-Books. So story and choices if existing are rather important. If I only want lewd content there is more than enough porn out there for that. In that context If I enjoy a VN and it has choices I like trying different routes and this was the perlmutation I went for this time. Nothing against the Charakter, she's ok.
Not a bug. Unfortunately, in 90% of games the harem route is canonical, and if you exclude someone, the story falls apart.Maybe it is simply a Bug but I doubt it. A lot of the later dialogues and events make very little sense without getting more involved with Beth. Which is okay if the dev wants to go in that direction, it's his game after all, but providing choices and ignoring them expecting to make only specific ones is, as it was accurately put, offputting.
but harem is fun. i'd normally get more disappointed if i have to give up on some of the LIs unless it makes the whole plot better at critical scale.Agreed 100%
I never understand people who skip story and cry about lack of lewd scenes. There are tons of real/animated porn. What's the point of VNs if all you care about is the action?

Don't get me wrong, a Pokemon harem (gotta catch them all) is a thing I usually enjoy, too. However, sometimes I feel like a certain girl would make no sense to me ("No, I am not forgiving what you did"), sometimes I think the relation is too stretched storywise, sometimes I just don't like a character for whatever subjective reason. Having to decide against a girl you are interested in is one thing, but in a "full harem" game my decision has already been made for me, and it has been made wrongly, which makes continuing their scenes annoying. More so if you are given the choice by the game and it is just ignored. Imagine being asked "What do you like to eat?" - "Pizza" - "Okay, steamed zucchini it is."but harem is fun. i'd normally get more disappointed if i have to give up on some of the LIs unless it makes the whole plot better at critical scale.
i know i know - i'm a greedy person)))
