This game has been dragging it's feet for a very long time, it's called "milking", milking it for one character the dev knows damn well that everyone is waiting for, they're not the first developer to do it and they won't be the last, plus the constant inner monologue of the MC about "this is wrong, yada yada" throughout the whole damn game.
That's why I cancelled my sub a long time ago,

Which really makes no sense to me. There are plenty of games that START with the character that the writer KNOWS is gonna be everyone's favorite, and they're still veryyyy successful games. There's already so much time sunk into filler exposition, at least give the people what they want while you're writing it. I promise, the people that have been waiting for Abby will still keep paying til the game is done even if Abby was the first one you got with.

It's not that it's a fetish. It's done to 'protect' people who are seen as vulnerable. That's the official stance anyway. The reality is that it's another bit of pointless legislation created by politicians desperate to be seen to do something. They have this strange idea that making things they don't approve of illegal makes them disappear.

You see, that "official stance" is a lie, not a clever one at that. Non-adults are already protected by law (age of consent and other laws) and what's going on in a bed between two adults with their consent it's only their business and no one else's. There's bunch of laws that protects private life of people and laws against incest are kinda contradicts that laws. But if you forbids something (without any valid reason especially) it quickly becomes interesting for the majority of people and if it's something related to sex then it's doomed to become fetish. May be an unpopular opinion but I always thought Abby and Lilith would get together even with them fucking Frank.

Those 2 have been banging each other long before any of them started on Frank.

I don't know to what extent you know this, but was there actually an update a few updates ago where Frank tried to support this, which as you say makes perfect sense. But then CNG backed down because there was quite a shitstorm from the supporters.

There may be some differing opinions here about the Abby dilemma, but I think most here agree that this backlash over “Frank trying to bring Lilly and Abby together” is absolutely stupid.

I'm frankly disgusted, it's a feeling I've had with the passing of the updates, and with several characters, but they all have one thing in common: Frank. Frank's personality, or at least the framework of his character has become increasingly faded and blurred over time. A wimp who has no will to oppose in hardly anything. The character that causes this the most is Becca, but in this latest update, Abby is the one who has taken advantage of that. And I don't like it, it makes it seem like the decisions don't matter. If I could rewrite Frank, or assume about him, he would never have messed with or even thought of Abby this way, just for one thing: he has too much of Jessica in his mind, he still loves and respects her as much as he did when she was alive, and I dare say he even loves her more than his current family (of course he would never admit it because Frank is made to represent the morally correct). I don't dislike Abby (though I hate her redesign), but I don't know, this route has already tired me out. I'd even like an option where everything gets fucked up and Frank disappears because he doesn't want to change the relationship he has with Abby, just something different, that a choice feels real, and that Frank stops being an avatar not of us players, but an avatar of his daughters' desires.

That last scene sums up this game so perfectly. Abby pushing, nearly outright bullying Frank, while he lays there whining and they basically argued in a circle for like (in there time) 20 minutes until Abby went to sleep. That was poorly written, they kept saying the same things over and over just in different ways.

So why do people call him wimp? because even after all the Strong morals internal monologue he just goes along with it when push comes to shove. When he NEEDS to make decisions he falters to adhere to his "strong morals" that are shown with his internal monologue & words he spoke like "no this isn't right" & "it can never happen".

and i'd say even those perceived moral's aren't that strong because they always happen right before or after the"damn she's hot" or some other sexual thought his step daughters.
plus arguments are almost always centred around "this is socially unacceptable","i could end up in jail" or "how bad others would look at it" probably from being indecisive again.

he only ever puts his foot down when Becca takes a go at Lilith telling her to be nice to her sister.(which is clearly a thing she mostly does to make her desired family hierarchy, but if becca is the one giving frank all the authority it also means she can take it away again,meaning she's the one really in controle)

all this to me seems he has little to no controle in his life,completely at the whims off a few adolescent girls whilst being indecisive about everything

Well, given this game has dragged on for 5 years and he's never shown any real control, then yeah, it's understandable people seeing him as a wimp, hell, 80% of his dialogue is inner monologue whining about how it's so wrong, yada yada, despite fucking several of the girls multiple times, lol.

He lost the Love of his life, was taken advantage of in a rigged court case, raised a women who is the exact image of his Lost Love whom he sees as his wife in moments of uncertainty, He can never grieve for he has to be strong to raising said women. then after years of being mentally abused by "new wife" Frank sees the unthinkable betrayal. his world destroyed. first thought protect all "his girls". he is now broken battered sense of duty takes over. Frank has one mission Love his girls, he can't see the difference anymore as "his Girls" want something and it is him they want. try as he might but his duty is to protect and love his girls he will always give in to them its his job now. so Abby will win, Beca will lead the path Lily will feed his lust. Beth & Mi will give him his family back. so frank Is not In control in this Game he is but a Puppet to his daughters. we the player just alter the path a little. It is a game after all.
