Beat the game a few days back but didn't give my opionion until now.
Fun game overall, I thought the difficulty was balanced, definitly not a cake walk, but not impossible either once you learn the move sets of the bosses.
Outside of that you can literally teleport back to town at any time from what I saw, so any debuffs you got along the way was easy to remove.
The only boss fights I had trouble with were the ones that had seemingly impossible to dodge moves, like the swamp boss when he charges you.
For those bosses I just brute forced my way to victory lol.
Horde boss was difficult at first until I figured out how his grabbing worked and when to jump vs duck.
The cultist priests confused me, because after the defeat scene and getting caught again for more parasites I just teleported out of the village to have the parasites removed and it reset the town.
Didn't realize I had to be infected at least once to get the two things to progress the story.
For the last boss I made the mistake of going in with zero potions, and of course when you fail it restarts the boss fight so I was locked in lol.
Luckly I had the strongest weapon in the game at that time so eventually I did managea a no potions last boss run.
Only debuffs I liked was the arousal and crests one where she can become pregnant.
I low key wanted her to keep the baby, but after I saw that even her fellow normal humans would give her a corrupted infant I didn't bother with it again.
Makes sense though for the dark setting of this game, and it really brings into prospective that this game takes place in the end of days, where as far as we know normal children can no longer be born.
Anyway great game. I think the price for it was well worth it and I look forward to whatever DLC comes out for it or what the next project will be.
More attractive Nuns please!
