Now that the lore discussions have mostly died down, replaced with regular questions about gameplay as we all wait for the next DLC update; I'd like to breath a little life to it by sharing a new perspective on SiNiSistar 2's story. Not from me, but from the Japanese community.
The 'Universe in the Womb' Theory
Written by フリッツ (Fritz), a DLSite reviewer and article writer, the Universe in the Womb theory is an attempt by him to piece together the lore and story of the game through the environment, Nennai's blog posts on Ci-en, and interestingly, through Lelia's behavior. His theory can be found in his DLSite Articles on the game, as well as four Fanfiction chapters he wrote on
Now, moving onto the start:
On Lelia
Fritz starts off his theory not by focusing on the major aspects of the story, like the Father Otherworlder or the Abomination Broodlings, but instead on Lelia. This may seem strange at first glance, Lelia is a silent protagonist and has very little character to show during the whole game. In fact, the game's description even lists her as simply being 'silent and mature'.
But Fritz thinks differently, to him, Lelia is not a character that displays their personality through words, but by the way she acts in-game when she is being attacked or raped by the various beings she encounters. In both in his DLsite articles and in his Fanfiction works on syosetu where he explores Lelia's character, he notes that she presents a calm, mature disposition in public, but is quick to reveal her true colors when she is being violated. When Lelia is being raped by monsters, she shrieks and moans in pain yet he notes that never once has Lelia ever looked afraid during the act. In fact, he noticed that when Lelia is raped by other humans, she looks away, avoiding eye contact and hiding her face under her arm. As if she's afraid of looking the other person in the eye, like they would discover her truest, ugly desires if they get a clear look.
Thus, Fritz has this to say about Lelia in regards to her story and character in the game.
This is what he presents as his answer to the game's ambigious ending. The slug that appears at the end is Lelia's personal dilemma. Does she kill it and continue her persona as the chaste, mature sister who secretly represses her sexual desire for death? Or does she embrace it and allow the slug to impregnate her, liberating her to freely display her true feelings in this dream world where no one can see her, hoping that one day it would lead to the oblivion she desires.

Moving on from Lelia, we now reach the most interesting part: the Otherworlders and the aforementioned subject of Fritz's theory 'The Universe in the Womb'. Starting off this theory, he already begins with quite a radical position unheard of from all the discussions I've seen in this forum so far. He posits that the crisis plaguing Arcezon isn't solely due to the Father of the Otherworld but also due to the presence of other Otherworlders that were summoned by the Priests by accident. Namely the being he calls 'Crazy Eyes' (a.k.a the Observer/Great Seere), the 'Snail Lineage' (Brain Snail Cluster boss), and the 'Slug'.
(Before we begin, I have to mention a bit of a naming difference between versions. In the English version, the Father and the Seeres are referred to as 'Otherworlders'. In Japanese however, they are referred to as 'Outer Ones'. (This is also what they are called in the files.) So bear with me as I will be using 'Otherworlder' and 'Outer One' interchangeably but do note they refer to the same beings.)
This is quite the departure from what we consider as basic fact here in this forum so one must ask, where did his hypothesis come from? He answers this question in his
And so we arrive at Fritz's conclusion: If other Outer Ones can arrive by accident when the Priests called upon the Father, then there's nothing stopping another Otherworlder from usurping the Father's method of creating a mortal form for itself by completely monopolizing it. For unlike the Father, Observer/Great Seere, and the Snail, the 'Slug' didn't need to fully manifest in reality as the curse would simply do its work for it. After all...

Curiosity kills the cat. She was a kitten. Perhaps a beast... a dream - No, we are the ones who are perverted hunters... thirsting for blood. Arseson, a land infected with a curse that turns unborn children into grotesque monsters. Sister Lilia of Purification, along with fellow monk Hanya, runs on a mission to exorcise the land while offering her pure womb to the bastard. "All the superiors have lost babies and are seeking them." If all species are ova, who will she marry? The sisters, who are destined to protect the people and become martyrs, swear to their mission or to God to destroy the demons. In a sense, it can be said to be a marriage with God. Therefore, the sisters prepare the "Blessing of Infertility" just in case they are filled with unwanted conception. There was one miscalculation. The curse of that land was truly aesthetic. Decadence! If you don't feel wisdom in it, then perhaps your level of perversion is too low. Hey, lick madness, spinning shapes. There are not enough eyes for a mad brain. "Seeker, aim for the other side." Harbinger, sweet distortion. Let's offer her steps to the womb. There is also the option of devouring the flesh and dismembering it. It is a kind of stylized beauty. However, some monsters live in the womb. They coexist. Humans and monsters mingle in that land. The Maison or Hills behind the Mound of Shame, a collective house where she walks around without a care. Reach! Let's go right to the throat of the Outer One. "Only those who wish for it can see it, and it gives them an endless mission." Know the Way. The carrier between the blink of an eye is another invisible being. So, was this the path we wanted? Yes, but there is a fallacy. Read the text of "Lost Protection." The excitement of the end. Her screams and cries are sounds close together - the sound of church bells ringing in celebration. The figure a young girl longs for. - The creaking sound of the boundary between illusion and death. The moment the black veil is stained with blood. Ah, it was there. A vow. Enchanted and guided by the ceremony - she is the bride of death.

, Nennai once mentioned the role of sisters like Haanja and Lelia where they mentioned that they are expected to not only help and serve the townsfolk, but are also expected to fight and potentially be martyred when fighting abominations. Drawing from that knowledge and from the game itself, Fritz states here in this poetic description that Lelia's fate is closely intertwined with death, similar to Rabiane. But he goes even further than that, as he builds upon that foundation to say that Lelia's character is one full of contradictions as we noted before. As Fritz elaborates further in the article:In Fritz's view, Lelia is a character who craves death through sexual pleasure. A sister sworn to chastity and protected by her Blessing of Purification, yet her desires lie on the contrary. She presents herself with a mature and silent persona on the outside, yet when she's held down by monsters and raped does she show her true feelings without shame. She screams, she moans, she yells; yet never once is she terrified, because she also desires for her violation to end with a swift death. It's why she tries to hide away when she's being raped by people, not monsters; because she's ashamed of her true nature, that people will see and know her to be a liar.フリッツ (Fritz) said:The reason why I wrote such a poetic review above is because the work that seems to be the source of the homage is a treasure trove of texts that leave room for interpretation. Therefore, you might think that the author of this work also has such an implication. Please take a look at the introduction of Lilia on the product page.

Are her boobs big?
Probably, no, it is... It feels surprisingly familiar. Or rather, if you make full use of a conceptual (i.e. linguistic) abstract world, you would use a lot of erotic text. But the most erotic thing about this work is the pictures, dots, and motion. I'm impressed with the skill to express eroticism with just that. And because of that, all you need is intuition. That's why I dared to use poetry that gives rise to interpretation. With the intention of expanding the worldview. By the way, the author has a high ability to verbalize. You can see that by reading the text in the gallery in the work or the text on Ci-en. He is the type of person who can talk as much as he wants if he wants to. What I want to say is that the worldview and setting are not deep or anything like that. Rather, if the setting of the enemy forces were revealed, the amount of text would be enormous. But he deliberately doesn't do that. He doesn't intentionally talk about it. Perhaps the world of Sinista is a "worldview that leaves room for interpretation because the surplus has been removed." That was probably the case from the policy of the erotic scenes. Lilia doesn't speak, she only moans. We don't know what she's thinking as she accepts being penetrated and poured into her vagina. This gives the player room to fantasize. To achieve this, we are particular about the depiction of the pictures. We captivate the player with her movements and expressions so that they can feel.
That's why I wrote it. "The sound of celebratory church bells. The image a young girl longs for." This is a lie. A deception, an illusion that exists only for this review. There is another, real illusion. Have you seen it in the end? The vision cast by an outsider. It is a dream. A nightmare. A hypnosis that makes you mistakenly think you've lost - No. This is my intuitive interpretation.

For Lilia, that was her sweet, sweet sexual desire for an ideal death.
I have seen Lilia's dying face flushed and her voice shrieking countless times. I have never seen her look terrified. If you observe carefully, it seems that she only turns her face away during the act when in public. She cannot look the other person in the eye because they would see right through her. It's as if she is showing that she can reveal her vile nature without hiding her persona from monsters. That is why, at the end of the story, she is able to make a choice. Because it's a game? No, the meta does not intervene. Where is the poor girl?
Curiosity killed the cat. She was a child of her age. A perverted believer oppressed by her mission. Perhaps a dead woman. The one closest to the sky, the one who saw the universe in the womb.

works if you want to see more of Fritz's thoughts on Lelia's character. He explores her character there more deeply than his articles and my bastardized summary here and intertwines it by giving her a backstory I would honestly see as close to canon as we can get. As for his view on Lelia, it's very close to what elixxon2 wrote about Rabiane and the first game just a day after the second game's release:The Otherworlders and the Universe in the WombThe first game had it's main themes as resisting temptation of both suicidal tendencies and pleasure. It is implied the whole game is the "observer" giving Rabiane visions of game over scenarios trying to figure out how to make the whole entering the world through humans thing work. The cultists weren't much use because they killed or Full Metal Alchemisted with random bugs and snails all the women in the region before considering the idea of birthing the outer beings into existence, and Rabiane was extra confusing because she self contradictingly craves motherhood and the sweet embrace of death. The endboss is the observer successfully tempting her with a snail into baby making sex after all that information collected then trying to put her into a sweet delusion. If she fails to break out too many times it's a game over with her giving birth to perfect replicas of the aliens the cultists worshiped.
The second game is a sequel with themes of horrors around parasites, impregantion with horrors beyond comprehension, temptations of lust, some horrors of transcendentalism, etc.
It's much lighter on guro because it's more about rape and monster babies. It does offer a very wide variety of REALLY random things though.

where he cites the unusual breeding process of the Demi-Humans and the Parasite Pigs compared to the Father's accursed abominations.フリッツ (Fritz) said:Demi-human
A monster with intelligence. Goblins in other works. They have their own culture, and they capture people for ritual purposes, rape them, impregnate them, and give birth to demi-humans. Those who oppose them are mercilessly punished with death. I'm sure many people were shocked by the situation of the remnant leader. I was too. What is noteworthy is that demi-humans are born, not cursed children. Their seeds bypass the curse of the Outer Father. This is probably the ritual for that purpose. The ritual is probably overwriting the curse. From another perspective, it could be thought of as planting eggs like insects. However, judging from the state inside the uterus, it is no different from normal sperm. Or perhaps there is a secret in the drink that Lilia was given. It melts the brain. The Outer Father's seed may reside in the brain.
As Fritz posits, his belief is centered around the fact that the existence of Demi-Human and Pigman babies show that the Father isn't the sole Otherworlder influencing events in Arcezon as they don't have full control over the abominations being birthed throughout region. He even believes that there is a power struggle between the Otherworlders inside the Cathedral which is why each of the enemies there are diverse and have different powers. He believes that the 'Outer Father', 'Crazy Eyes', and the 'Snail Lineage' are in the midst of this struggle by the time the player arrives; each fighting to cement full control over Arcezon.フリッツ (Fritz) said:Pig head man
I don't know if it will make sense, but I think he is a special individual whose mutant body has become accustomed to him, like the masked man in the hospital in Outbreak 2. Or a dairy farmer who has become one with the pigs. While the pigs are uniformly infested with tentacles, the pig head has no tentacles and is trying to continue raising pigs. Is he repeating the actions of his previous life, or is he simply crazy? What is noteworthy is that when he is impregnated, a pig is born. Even though the parasite is carried in the uterus. Although the parasite lineage is a direct descendant of the Outer Akebia, it is defeated by the pig. There are two possible explanations. One is that the Outer Father and animals other than humans do not get along well, and pigs cannot be completely taken over. This supports the fact that no cursed children were born when the demi-humans were born. The other is that the Outer Father does not have that much coercive power in the first place. Everything gives off the atmosphere of the Outer Father's cursed children, but it is possible that this is not actually the case. It may seem unimportant but it is important, but there is a lot of depth to the event. The author loves big breasts, so good, do more.
フリッツ (Fritz) said:Crazy Eyes
Name unknown. Confirmed in Meat Sister, Pig Miracle, and Painting Eyes. It is somewhat similar to the Brain Snail mentioned below, but unlike them, this one has "eyes growing" like a plant. Like the tentacles, it takes over the target, but it seems to simply be increasing its violent nature. It is probably a different force from the Outer Father. Perhaps when the Heretic Cultists summoned various outer beings, the trigger for the birth of Crazy Eyes and snails happened to get mixed in. It's a nuisance for the people.
フリッツ (Fritz) said:Snail lineage
Like the Outer Father, he cannot be seen, but since his eyes are open, he is thought to be a different force from the Outer Father. He seems to be the remains of a priest. Isn't it ironic that he is taken in by a force different from the object of his worship? If you look into his eyes, knowledge is poured into you and your brain opens to that of a snail. What kind of principle is this, Heavy Weather? It's probably not a slug type either, but the hidden boss's Blinking Courier seems to be similar to this. However, he is the only one of the higher beings who directly impregnates you, so he may be a different force after all. By the way, the reward seems to be for female Hidden Way practitioners. It is unknown what relationship he has with the boss.
But you may wonder, what about the 'Slug'? Well that leads to the main point of Fritz's theory. Fritz noticed that when you lose to the Priests, Lelia gives birth to an Abomination Broodling. Yet should Lelia get pregnant and lose to the Abomination Broodling Harbinger, or fail to break out of the Father's vision in the final boss fight, she gives birth to slugs instead. Which leads him to his point, if the Father doesn't have full control over the cursed births in Arcezon then who is the Outer One that has cursed the fetuses in the region to transform into Abomination Broodlings?フリッツ (Fritz) said:Father of the Outer Universe
The mastermind of this work. Faceless Akebia. As mentioned in many texts, this is the cause of the curse that gives birth to the cursed children. His abilities are probably parasitism and visions. And it seems like he has some kind of compulsion, but I don't know if he's strong or not. He is certainly a strong boss, though. If you are nearby without manifesting him, he will grab you and contaminate your blood with a mysterious bacteria. The meat lump end is revolification. Since he cannot be transformed into a bacteria during the ritual, he will use a failed cursed child to interfere. His visions are "to show dreams of the womb." Visions based on his instincts as a female. Well, that's not all for Lilia. His motives for wanting to manifest are unknown. But from a human perspective, his intentions would be nothing other than malice itself. Just like livestock cannot know the deeds of humans.
フリッツ (Fritz) said:Slug family
A spiritual being related to the Cursed Child. Apparently they were there in the previous work as well. Thanks to them, it has both merit and demerit that Lilia is officially confirmed as a greedy girl who is willing to be impregnated. Of course, the meaning is a sinful achievement. It is told in a rather unique text. If read literally, it says that at the time of conception, the distortion of the world outside this one seeps in like environmental pollution, and so a Cursed Child is born. As a Cursed Child, it is assumed that it is related to the Outer Father, but the depiction is a mystery. That is, when Lilia is completely defeated in the second battle against the Harbinger of the Cursed Child, a child of the Outer Father is not born, but a slug appears. From the considerations so far, I propose that,
Theory that slugs are not under the command of the Outer Father.
The way the Outer Father manifested was supposed to be a kind of brood parasitism, turning the fetuses of others into bastards. However, the force was weak, and he ended up losing to demi-humans and pigs. If that was the case,
Isn't it possible that the very method of the Outer Father's manifestation could be used by another being?
By the way, the Outer Beings and the Superior Beings in this work are concepts related to the Cthulhu Mythos. A certain fan artist also expresses a transcendent superior being in his work, but it is better to think of them as a fundamental source of energy that gives birth to the subdivisions of life and death, and they are, so to speak, impersonal monotheists in the context of thought and philosophy. Cthulhu-related gods can be understood as polytheistic ideas that are familiar in Japan. They become surrogate pregnant with the blasphemous god's child through the ritual of sexual intercourse. To put it very simply, the Superior Beings are aliens. They are grotesque and huge in appearance, so it is unlikely that they have a human form that would be called human. Should we call them space life forms? And they invade the Earth using mysterious technology or mysterious ecology. Their purpose is also a mystery. It could be malice, or it could be innocent whimsy. In my opinion, the cathedral was a place where three forces, the "Crazy Eye," the "Snail," and the "Outer Father," were fighting each other. Although it is a mystery, if we simply verbalize the purpose, it is a struggle for power and a fight for survival. The Crazy Eyes take root like plants, the Snails remodel the brain, and the Outer Father takes over the fetus. So what is the "Slug"? It is probably a parasite that rides on the curse of the Outer Father for free. From the description, the Outer Father was only able to manifest himself in the parasites directly under his control, the Heretic Cultists, and the impregnation of aborted babies. If you think about it, if there was no Slug, Lilia would not have been conceived. While there are strategies to directly change the brain like the Snail, the Slug's strategy was to indirectly corner them bit by bit. Perhaps the boss of the leeches and demi-humans is not the product of the Outer Father but the Slug's power. Unlike them, the Slug does not change the shape of the host, and remains latent in the reproduction of offspring. It is as if to show that a spiritual being does not even need to go to the trouble of physically manifesting. Was the Outer Father really the cause of the curse? The true culprit is...

While I do agree on some aspects, I don't necessarily agree with the Otherworlder conflict he proposes, as well as the whole Snails and Slugs being Otherworlders equal to the Father and the Observer/Great Seere. Fritz also mentioned that he hadn't played the first game so yeah, take it with a pinch of salt. It may not be what we consider the correct lore here, but it's interesting to see the perspective of other communities when it comes to the lore of this game.
