the 2nd game have more clearer ending than the 1st because 1st game literally had no dialogue at all while 2nd game clearly does.
some idiot try heretical ritual, got heretical result, "play stupid game win stupid prize" moment. but the one who have to pay is not just the idiot but everyone else nearby, including us, and we try to ask for help but it get nowhere so we decided to take matter into our own hand and resolve it by ourselves, banishing the eldritch horror back to it's dimension.
the only question is the slug who appear in the end just like in 1st game, that still hang me question if this slug is anything important or just pure paying homage to the 1st game, i'm not sure on that one.
