I have the unpatched version and I can confirm that when attacking she would randomly make that noise, not always. And there're at least two variants that I've heard.
I think I randomly got that noise multiple times in a row and couldn't stop noticing it after. Is it supposed to be some kind of grunt of exertion? It sounds so weird I thought it was a glitch.

I think it's just a design choice of having an audible cue for the attack action. It's mostly seen in fighting games, and pretty common in Japanese games of all genres that usually feature cute female playable characters.

Without even going into irl, that's pretty standard for video game to give you some audio feedback from your character (or even an NPC) while performing a combat action... Not sure either how Leila making noise when she attacks ended up being interpreted as a bug.

Lol honestly that hairstyle is so bad idk why guys always use it :p
I think it's probably because if the guy's facial expressions can't be seen then he won't look like he has a personality of his own. Most hentai-games male protags have a rather "bland but relatable" type of design, and I'd say it serves the purpose of making them easy at being relatable. A sort of self-insert archetype, if you will.

The game states out that Haanja and Lilia came into arcezon to deal with the problem and arent local. As for the story, honestly most people here overthink it. Not that there aint a hidden story, but its not really relevant till the ending.
This totally. I mean the story is paper thin (dark souls 1 has more story than this game), and is sort of just an excuse to have you go out there and murder things/get murdered (we aren't meant to actually be able to understand why the monsters/horrors/cultists are doing what they are doing or why they are here, they just are). This isn't a knock against the game, quite the opposite actually as i think it was done that way on purpose, the atmosphere, the horror vibe and the challenge of it being the main hook. Everything outside of that is just fanfiction level theory crafting and being just way too much into your own headcanon (i guess some people just love writing walls upon walls of text that has actually nothing to do with ingame content).

You listed a series of established facts up to the last sentence. Of course, the stories discussed in this thread are fan theories until they are confirmed by the developer. However, most of them were written based on careful research to fill the gaps in the game’s content. So why do you think they are unrelated to the game itself? I am not one of the writers. But those fan theories helped me engage with the game story more deeply. If you played it as a simple shoot-and-slash game without considering the narrative, then good for you. However, please think carefully before dismissing the work of others as irrelevant or unnecessary.

I played the first SiNisitar like everyone else but this second one I decided to play in one sit and without being penetrated (raped), this game is incredibly captivating when you play worried about her.
Now I'm going to delve deeper into these theories of yours because the world that Uu created for Sinisistar is incredible.

I recommend doing a virgin run in all games first. Not only do you engage with more of the game, you also may find details the dev put in that you may have missed if you just go in horny mode full blast.
Remember: they decided to make it a game, not just animation`s

It does make you more angry if you keep failing in specific parts though, as normal games generally do lol

As one of those writers, I can confirm some of us are at least trying to interpret events ingame to the best of our ability and not go the fan fiction route. Aye, sometimes we can be loose with said interpretations but that's usually to fill in the gaps.

Frankly, there's nothing wrong with games that are light on lore. I hope I can speak for others but for me personally I'm far more engaged with something that uses our imaginations rather than have things spelt out for us. And while I have nothing against folks who want to switch off their brains while playing these games, I'm the opposite for I'm passionate about the setting and want to treat it with the respect it deserves, which is not something I usually say for adult games in general.

Here's the thing, too. Nennai is a brilliant visual storyteller. There are many little things sewn into both Sinisistar games that are probably overlooked by the average player, so I appreciate conversing with creative fans of the setting so we exchange ideas on what we interpret ingame. It's obvious Raka is not one of those fans, though, which really doesn't bother me at all.

I still think his opinion is atrocious but hey, if he enjoyed the game regardless, good for him! Especially if he paid for it.
