I would avoid compressed or compact versions like the plague. They seem to be more prone to errors and missing content. Not only that but you have no idea what was removed or added, on top of not knowing if the save (of a compressed version) will be compatibly with the next update until it is updated.
I just avoid them.

i just tryed it, same for me, i think they fucked up the game, we have to wait until they fix it, game is also freezing and the new item wont work on old saves

to my understanding the game checks for "speak to", but it actually checks for "change position", locks onto that mode and forbids you to speak. If you instead use speak immediately, it glitches because you didn't enter the part of the tutorial where it tells you to click onto her head. what a buggy mess bruh
