There's always that one bitchy sister in these type of games who think its the kids fault for leaving and not contacting

Hi, Maim Lain, I am not sure the error is related to the game or MOD.
I played Sister Lust with your MOD and then saved at the end of Day 4 (total 17 saves). It is strange that save folder exists only in C drive, nothing in game folder. (I played other Ren'Py games many times. It is the first time seeing this strange.)
Then I continued playing next day, but it encountered an error. Someone says in the game thread (not in this thread) to delete the "perverteer" file if it exists C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\persistent.
So I deleted the file and played the game. It worked but when I pressed "Load", the save slots are empty. All my 17 save files are gone. (but they still exist in C drive.)
Another strange is that the save files exist in C:\VTRoot\HarddiskVolume2\Users\<your user name>\..., not in C:\Users\<your user name>\...

that folder there "VTRoot" is created when you have some antivirus throwing your game executable into a virtual environment; i know it from Comodo AV where you can just right click stuff and choose "run virtual"..
welp techie stuff; game Devs often don't bother digitally signing their still in-development games with erhm, "security authorities" so they aren't registered as "known good" with the AV list. if you have that AV, you should have a pop-up telling you "this application has been run virtually" with choices. it's part of the "Auto Containment" section of the AV. usually i run alot Ren'Py or RPGM games in just that virtual box, because if anything goes wrong, i can just Reset it, and everything inside is gone.
a workaround might be, after you apply a patch or mod to a game, to disable the containment and just once start the game outside the box without loading any save: Ren'Py can then compile whatever the patch/mod is supposed to add, and you can restart the game the usual way. the virtual environment ("Sandbox") limits whatever runs inside, that's why some games fail to work, or changes don't stick.

Most mods that Lain does includes an incest patch if it's that type of game. There are a couple of ones that are separate from mods though, because not everyone wants that sort of thing. I've been using the mod here for as long as I've played the game, never had issue though.

Other games in threads I've followed have had similar issues with WT mods/I-patches. Most of the time, like you did, you just have to remove the patch. But I've also found that certain sites you get i-patches from, some of them could be corrupted, therefore borking your game.

why do I keep getting a message that says that I don't have the extra scenes when I want to see one in the gallery? isn't the compressed version on f95 the complete version of the game?

I think its the mod in question seeing as it overwrites most of the game scenes i think the mod was made for the previous version without the extra scenes :( and i also realised this only after i got an issue trying to get the sisters to get in a threouple.. now im trying to find all the ones i missed

That's just not true...
If you get that error then you don't have the extra version to begin with.

Oh damn, now im really confused why did the compressed one say it is the extended version... Aw now gotta redownload full game all over just to see what i missed throughout everything

So just Confirmed with the Great Compressor Jokerleaer yeah his compressed version was until yesterday not fully up to date so sorry to Lain your mod is flawless as usual, an now the compresse version is up to date

just redownloa the latest compresse version an then install mod it willl work like a charm

Mod is probably not installed correctly. It should be installed into /game folder.
