Is this The Latest WT or is there a newer version of the WT. I downloaded both files and got this screen when starting

He wouldn't get an error with v1.1.6. He is using v1.2, which is the latest version here without extra scenes.

By the way, for people that don't care about mods, you can pretty easily play v1.2 (which includes music, sounds, replay gallery, and bug fixes) with the Extra Scenes included.
The extra scenes won't have sound or music, and will have a missing preview image in the replay gallery, but will otherwise work fine. I haven't tested it in a fully playthrough with v1.2, but it worked just fine with Patreon v1.1.11 when I played it last year and what I tested of v1.2 recently.
As for why this works:
- Download both v1.1.6 and v1.2
- Download UnRen
- Extract v1.1.6 to a temporary folder
- Drop the UnRen-1.0.11d.bat file into the temp folder at the same level as SL.exe
- Run UnRen and press '1'. Wait for it to finish, press '1' again, and then press '2'. Once finished again, close UnRen.
- Extract v1.2 where you want the game.
- Copy extras.rpa, extras.rpy, and extras.rpyc from your temporary v1.1.6 'game' folder to the v1.2 'game' folder.
- Delete your temporary v1.1.6 folder.
- Enjoy

I mean that's nice and all, but if you're starting with all of that you can just play v1.1.6 with the WT.
The v1.2 update really only adds music that nobody needs. The rest like the gallery is provided by the WT, the bugfixes included.
Some people, myself included, really appreciate music to set the mood. If the game doesn't have it, I'm honestly a bit less likely to play it. If I'm still interested, I will try to find some music that I feel matches the mood that I can play in the background. I would still pick curated music over a walkthrough mod 100% of the time, unless it's just bad music.
Clearly this post isn't for you since you don't seem to care about music or sounds, but other people might appreciate it.

This might come as a shocker, but you can run music in the background while you play games.
Even the same royalty free stuff Perverteer uses in his games.

I'm aware. I literally just said in what you quoted that I'd find some if it didn't exist in the game.
But having to break immersion and change tracks if the music doesn't match the mood is a pain in the ass sometimes. And if the dev themselves has picked tracks they think fit, I'm usually interested to hear what they've chosen specifically for that scene.

You know, it's a shame that although this game is already finished and we may never have more updates or extra events, I personally feel that I had more to give, especially with those other women than the ones the protagonist faced or had any relationship with.
Like for example Hazel, the mother of the boy who harassed Bella or Mrs. Steel who bothered Rachel with her "moral promotion" group. And even the singer Valentina, we no longer heard from her.
It would have been great if they joined the protagonist's harem or tried revenge beyond what we saw in the game.
For example, in the end there was an ending where all the "playable" girls end up pregnant, why not the others too?
That is to say, they would have made Hazel end up abandoning her pitiful son for the protagonist, that she would be a regular "lover" of the protagonist, whether forced or freely, or that she would end up pregnant and that in the end she would be forced to raise the baby due to the threats of reporting her son's actions to the authorities or, simply because she could not afford an abortion.
With Mrs. Steel it would have been something similar. That the protagonist, out of revenge, ended up subjecting her to various "punishments", ending up pregnant and, whether by choice or forced, ended up being the "sexual pet" of the family.
With Valentina, who at the end of her "adventure" with Rachel and the protagonist that night, ended up pregnant and there could be two paths. One in which he decided to temporarily abandon his career to focus on raising his son with Rachel and the protagonist or, in which he continued as a singer, leaving the identity of the father a mystery to the press, but secretly visiting him with his daughter.
I don't know, I still see a lot of potential in the game. But hey, everything has its end.

Sorry Nad, we usually agree on this thread but Tales is nowhere near the quality of this (not talking render quality). Just a cardboard copy with absolutely no real depth in the family dynamic. Characters are just hollow compared to SL. Plus I'm still he pissed he changed Jade and that her being submissive means the MC is an utter asshole lol. It's almost like they are written by two completely different people.

I love SL but for me it lacks in the story department. It's a bit too slice of life for me.
It's the classic: Long lost son comes home after long absence and seduces the family.
In Tales I actually want to know what's going on.
What does MCs father want, what does the Confessor want?
Who made the prophecy. Why?
Why is Eva so special and her sister not despite being twins.
And so on...
SL laid a beautiful groundwork, but Tales is where Pervereer shines and shows how much better he got as a dev.
Tales also has more attractive models duh it's newer
.I also like the family cast of Tales way more than the SL cast, Lilly is just wow, top gorgeous redhead. I'd kill for that.
In the end both Tales from the Unending Void and Sisterly Lust are top games in their genre, but please don't misunderstand me I really like them both and I regularly delete my saves and play them again.

I would have had more to give if I had a second dick. Life certainly would be much different. But, alas, woe is me.
My only gripe is that there's no James x Rachel scene, which wouldn't be a big deal or something I considered if the game hadn't brought it up at one point at the sleepover. Missed opportunity to have either a threesome or the MC spying on Rachel x James.
