I have never had any issues whatsoever with nopy.to. Having said that, I use Adblock so if there are ads at all I don't see them. For me, nopy.to is always fast and reliable, and AFAIK they don't cap your download bandwidth like Mega does.

You can safely remove any adblock you have on nopy, one of it's selling point it's not having ads on it and, as you said, not throttling bandwidth

It's supposed to be run in window mode. If you go on fullscreen, things will go bad.

Japanese pixel censorship is utter shit. Japanese women chirping like retarded birds is shit. Animation resolution is pretty shitty (not 360p but ~480p). Can't go fullscreen. Can't control via keyboard. UI is full of shitty Japanese characters that nobody wants.
