I don't mind either the AI-generated art or the muscles on the femboy. Face is cute, ass & thighs are thicc I'm highly suspicious of anyone who says the previous artwork is preferable. Let's be honest, it wasn't good, and that put me off the game until now. Playing through it, however, it's a fairly standard kinetic novel experience, nothing more, nothing less.

Count me as someone who preferred the more femboyish look... but y'all asking for it to come back or be an option, you know that would make the game take so much longer to develop, because on top of needing twice as much art if it was a toggle, the old style took a lot longer to make? Like, It's one thing if we're funding the game or something, but we're a bunch of pirates here, we're not exactly in a position to be demanding changes for the sake of our tastes

I totally agree that the previous art had a lot of charm even though it wasn't the most detailed.
But I totally understand the developer's desire to make their game look better and be better for new audiences.
Besides, Dax's expressiveness is much better and makes him seem more alive.
I don't know why u guys say his body is "too masculine."
Dax is a pilot and warrior, in my opinion the body is natural, What seems unnatural to me is how the bulge is marked, yes it's naughty but not at all practical and normal.
For the animation of some scenes everything will depend on whether the program used for the design allows it.

Haven't played this game in a long while but I remember that Dax's race(if I can call it that) is stronger in general than humans. I remember the main character even saying that he's surprised how strong Dax is for looking so frail(I don't remember this part well so quote me but I think the mc even said that Dax might be as strong or even stronger than him). In that sense it also made sense that Dax was a pilot fighting against humans.

I normally don't like Military stuff (nothing beats Starship Troopers), but the story "sucked" me in yesterday and I'm currently at the attack on the battle ship (hope Dax is ok...). Never saw the old art, but like what is shown in this current (Android) version <3

muscles can work, its the body proportion that kills it. it would be something if he had some deifiniton here and there, but now, its a straight up guy. as opposed to a femboy or trap it used to in the original art.

the body is too retangular. there's no real curves either. so its like someone said, it went from trap to bara style. the drawn of the original was that, he looked feminine enough. besides(and this is a personal taste) it has a much more pronounced snout.

there's something to be said about too much of a definition, and this clearly crossed the line.

I don't feel anything with the new art, I just wanted the female character, thicc, fat ass, everything that was in the old art that gave the impression that the character was disposable by his own people because of his own physique.

Edit: For some reason I was under the impression that the game had full released 1.0..... It's actually Version 0.15. Take my original post below with a grain of salt that it could easily change completely at version 1.0. Imo, In a way it makes the game shine just a bit more for already having as much as it does with only being at v0.15.


I felt similarly. While I can understand how the game "Post island" could easily be plot heavy... For me, it was too plot heavy. The pacing went from 0-500mph in the span of a few minutes. There was so much content and time development the story between 2 main characters which I was expecting the rest of the game to follow a somewhat similar pacing that... or (tbh) I thought the game was going to end with a Somewhat sweet but abrupt ending to the affect of "they lived happily ever after".

I feel like the story post island could have been it's own game all together. This is in no way meant to belittle the content post island, and I'll be the first to admit that even thought English is my primary language, I don't dare claim to be good at writing plot /s story flow. I can't exactly put my finger on it, but part of me wants to say I expected one thing (mainly because of the mass influx of *poorly written* vn's) that even though the island laid the basis for everything that happened post island, the amount of unfinished/abandoned adult VN's that exist laid the expectation of nothing post Island, so it was even that more of a abrupt shocker.

The story was great, the characters had depth to them, plenty of dialogue. Regardless of my personal thoughts on the story post island, I still give the game 4.5/5 Stars.
