What are "custom npcs"? Followers?
I have a few vanilla npcs replacers, and NEET + NV works with them without any problems.

When we say "custom npcs" or "custom followers", we mean characters that are added by mods, they are not present in the vanilla game.
Lydia is a vanilla follower NPC. Coralyn and Vayne whom I mentioned in my long-ass post above are custom follower NPCs.
( And the user you are replying to probably meant that NEET only works with custom NPCs because Naughty Voices then takes over almost all vanilla ones).

I have used NV 2.5 and 2.6 with SA, and they both work fine

It was a problem until recently, but someone shared NV 2.7 which works with Standalone (previous versions had problems).

- You can switch between the female characters.

- Fixed an issue in one of the animations released on the previous update in which the male character would get an incorrect scale in one of the speeds.

Thanks for sharing these animation pack updates with the community.
Yeah, I wonder if it is because we are used to Ostim NG's UI. But moving forward, that's where the mods will be getting updated (like the animations above), and another hero also shared Naughty Voices 2.7, which was holding me back from switching.
Standalone is way faster and smoother than NG as well, and the sound system is better than the old ones used by OSA and OSound.
Lesbian players are the only ones that I can think of who have strong reasons to stay with NG since Moon's Night Blooming Violets was the only animation pack updated to Standalone (all the animations in the Addon Hub were butchered in Standalone).
