will wait for more content. perhaps for something which constitue a buildup. something must have happened before you are picked to be a dungeon master, right? and yeah, if it is a sandbox into trainer... id need some free roam, random encounters, options to find and drug some gials etc

QSP is enormously easy to maintain and code in. I imagine these other people suggesting the opposite have never actually worked on a QSP game.
I never tell people not to use something without experience.

I have to echo that QSP games tend to be hard to translate and have unfortunate bugs that just never go away.

Interesting idea and considering other games like this one never survived long enough to be finished (the brothel/slave management games) if this gets a lot of content and it gets finished it will be a really nice game. The worst case scenario will be if this gets one or two updates and then get abandoned like the rest.

Thanks everyone for the feedback so far! I know it's really not much at all yet, but I've made a decent amount of progress today after figuring out some of the peculiarities of QSP.

I understand why people are recommending I switch from QSP, but the engine is a significant part of why I choose to start the project in the first place, because I find it neat, and trying to figure out Russian documentation is fun. I know it might bite me in the ass later, but for now it's speeding up the amount of work I can do, and this project is an exercise in amusement anyway, so I'm gonna stick with it for the time being.

I really like the concept of this game and I am curious where it will go.
That said, I do hope it isnt going to be like most QSP games where you end up just going trigger hunting in a sandbox environment.
But the choice for QSP has me a bit worried.
I do want to avoid this! My plan is to split the content somewhat along sandbox & narrative lines, with the sandbox elements featuring randomly generated girls and generic porn shots comprising the core gameplay loop, while the interspersed narrative segments feature dialogue that is more tightly connected to the porn, and have continuity of actresses for better immersion (this is the style of the currently released demo).

I'm sure you will find people will enjoy this type of game. I would include QSP in the download so people don't need to go find it. I had issue with demo not showing photos. I downloaded QSP 5. All so would change the restart as ^ did not work for me and clicking on it did not work.
Bundling the QSP player is a good idea, I'll include it in the next build. I was worried about rebundling someone else's work (thinking about how strict nexus and such are about that), but this is a piracy forum anyway, so...

All I can say is that the game has potential to be great and somehow feel like wife trainer in a darker premises. Background story seems okay and almost no typos. But the content still too short for me to grasp how you gonna shape the game. Will you make it focused on training like wife trainer or will you make it more like a life sim or different directions altogether. Although personally I'd like it if you decide to go on hardcore darker training focus to give more immersion on the whole sexual slave theme.

My plan is to make training the core gameplay loop, and I've got the bare bones of it finished today!

I have a very rudimentary system that store's all of a girl's randomly generated descriptors in one array (name, age, cup-size, etc.) and her training stats in another (Fear, Pride, Obedience, Oral, Vaginal, Anal, and Servitude). Fear is easy to build but short lived, humiliation reduces pride, and by managing those two stats you can raise her longterm obedience. These different stats will affect how effective she is at performing various jobs for you (earning more money, or other effects) as well as modify her sale price when you decide to get rid of her. There's also a currently unused "Status" stat, which indicates how 'important' a member of society she is, which will affect how concerned the police are by her disappearance. This will make life more difficult for you and require more expensive real estate and transportation, and increased risk, but rich girls go for more at auction...

(Good concept, but that's all there is here. A concept. The 'demo' is not a demo, it's a very brief idea of concept. It's not nothing, however frankly, it's way, way too soon to put this up. There's just nothing to play.

And, the use of video files is one I personally disagree with. Perhaps I'm alone in that, but not only does it take up more room than is needed and increase the file size, I just don't like them. I greatly prefer a series of pictures to a playing video with dialogue, because that dialogue and sound is always in contrast with what I'm envisioning from read text. Plus, the actresses are almost always more believable as a series of still images, instead of a continuous video where they're attempting to act.

My experience and my opinion. And add in that you need another version of QSP to run it? I honestly just don't think it's worth it.

It's a good idea. It is. But there's no game here, and it was way, way too early to make this kind of posting. At this point, I'm expecting it to die and disappear for lack of interest, not interested to see where it might go. A bad start, I'm afraid.)
I totally get that an unnecessarily large game file full of videos on a jury-rigged version of a 15 year old Russian engine doesn't seem like the best idea, but I'm really just doing this for myself as a fun project, not too worried about it being unpopular. I found that there weren't really any games that used high quality bdsm clips and tied them closely to the narrative, so I'm just trying to have some fun coding and filling that niche at the same time.

Out of curiousity, in your description you mention you'd get a collar around your own neck, but the protag is male and the context seems to indicate they only deal with female slaves.

Is there future plans for female or trans protags?
I don't currently have any plans for that, but at some point in the future when the core game is somewhere near presentable I would be interested in doing either! For the current male protagonist, the plan is to introduce your own enslavement as a failstate for running out of money (although maybe it doesn't have to be a traditional failstate?). Also, characters with low dominance or who have decided to make some money on the side as a gimp may find that their coworkers decide you're a pushover and collar you after too many submissive moments.

Then cut off the sound of your videofiles. It gives you two advantages. It will reduce the size of the imagefolder, esp. when the game grows and there are a lot of videos. Second there will be situations, where the sound does not fit the story you want to tell.

New build is up! I've added a proper intro to the story (without continuity to the sandbox - yet), a preview of the training system (images only for now, no gameplay or text yet, and no sexual training system yet - but it's coming), and the ability to kidnap randomly generated girls from the slums. Although the stats are not yet tied to the training, you can use the debug controls to see how different levels of fear/pride/obedience change the slave's image. Everything is still very rough, be warned, but there should hopefully be more indication of where this project is going than the last build. Thank you everyone for your feedback so far!

That's definitely a good suggestion. I've only added pictures to this latest build, but I'll definitely wipe the audio from my videos in the next one.

I really like the concept. It's surprisingly rare that games allow you to play not only the scum of our society, but the scum of the game's society too. Sure there's plenty of brothel managers and slave trainers, but in those games the society of the game universe tends to be A-okay with whatever the player does. The only other game that allows this that I can think of off the top my head is Overseer.

Well, I haven't really introduced any necessarily gendered scenes, and I wanted to flesh out more rpg-character elements, so I can probably implement male and female options if people are interested.
I, a random asshole on the internet, would honestly advise against it. It pushes devs to create double PC scenes while most players wouldn't even care to access half of the content you've whipped yourself into producing. Not every game has to be palatable to everyone's taste. Let feMC games be feMC, MC games be MC, and [insert fetish here] games be [insert fetish here] games.
