if you couldnt find a fix to the black screen thing i might have a fix for you. if you have two drivers and one of them is nvida like i have then you can force the game to run through nvida. from what i understand laptops will sometimes have two drivers for performance reasons and will run programs on the weaker gpu if it thinks it can handle it. idk if im missing something or if i have an outdated intel driver but switching to nvida let me actually run the game.
