Error on the first map if you let yourself get caught and select retry.

Put it in the data folder, it worked for me.

Couldn't even finish the game, tried running it in both japanese locale and re-extracting to japanese using winrar settings before trying again

As said by dveragon, try redownloading on one of the aforementioned, or check if the filehost where you're downloading from has the file uploaded today. The one I downloaded had been uploaded days before, not today.

Tried winrar with the Japanese name encoding and without both times I get this error.
