Done with the game now.
Since I think there are plenty of parts to this game that might be confusing at first, I thought I might aswell do a small guide with some questions and issues I encountered while playing.
This is mostly from the Thistle Route perspective, with some comments on the differences for Capu's route in the end
"I don't have enough time in this game"
> There are books availeable in the second floor of the Library, that shorten the time needed to do stuff.
Harvest Master reduces gathering time down to 5/0 minutes (while also increasing the amount of items you gather), and
Idaten Legend reduces the time that passes on map transitions and when escaping combat down to 10/5/0 minutes.
This means that, once you have aquired Harvest Master 2 and True Idaten Legend (availeable on floor 3), you can take your sweet time exploring the game.
Keep in mind, that fighting Enemies (instead of fleeing them) and sleeping to restore Mana will still cause time to pass but it will be the only thing to do so.
I unlocked these Books on day 3 and I was able to get to lvl 99, find all outfits, unlock all endings and unlock every other book in the library before day 5 started.
> Focus on Harvest Master first, since it allows you to not waste time while gathering the magic stones to purchase the other books.
"My Lewdness rises too fast to explore the Maps"
> Purchasing the
Libido Controll Books in the Library reduces the speed at which Lewdness Rises, but doesn't eliminate it. It should allow you to save up for the
Grimoir of Lust in floor 3 of the Library tho, which unlocks Items to help you deal with Libido. The "Numbess Ring" completely nullifies Libido gain but is rather expensive to craft (and would take up one of your 2 Ring Slots).
Instead, you should craft Sedatives, which are cheap to craft using only a Remedy as Material (which in turn can be crafted from basic Materials or purchased from the Merchant)
Keep in mind you can press left or right in the crafting menu to cycle between alternative recipes.
"I'm unable to defeat the bosses/combat is too hard"
> Unlock the
All about Ores series of Books, to unlock recipes for better Weapons. Aim to get the Legendary Knuckles, once an enemy drops a premium wing.
> For more survivability, unlock the
Healing Knowledge Advanced Book, and craft a "Ring of Regeneration". It will heal you by 30% every round, allowing you to whittle down any enemy, unless you are extremely underleveled.
> The
Essense of Enhancement Series of Books unlocks recipes for Rings that enhance your Stats. Crafting the "Ring of Superhuman" doubles your attack, deffense and Agility (and until you get that, the "Ring of Might" should already help plenty.
> Until you are strong enough to defeat them without them, high level Talismans can be used to cheese Enemies and get their drops. Ideally you want to use the elemental Stones found in the respective Dungeons on these so you can save your Magic Stones for Bookpoints.
> Turning Bookpoints you don't immediately have any use for into EXP at the Statue in Floor 3 of the Library can give you an immediate Boost to help out with Enemies you are strugglign with. Keep in mind that once you have True Idaten Legend and Harvest Master 2, you can just leisurely walk through the entire map to gather Magic Stones and turn them into Bookpoints.
Keep in mind here, that your Inventory caps at 99 copies an item. Deliver your magic stones regularly so you aren't missing out.
> Once you are on a high enough level to consitently defeat them, the Enemies in the Mirror World (Floor 3 Library, requires 10k points to unlock) give 10000 experience each. Allowing you to quickly max out your level
"I can't find this Dungeon"
> Pyramid is to the left of the Forest, following the Bridge.
> Vulcano is at the Bottom of the Western Mine
> Mountain is north of the Lost Path Area
> Sea Cave is to the right of the forest, following the bridge. The entrance can only be accessed between 0:00 and 1:00 and 12:00 and 13:00. Avoid battling enemies on the path to the cave to not advance time.
"I can't find this outfit"
> check out
this post for help with this
"I can't defeat the boss in time for ending 7"
> Craft
Dark Matter a single use of it will Oneshot him (might scale with lvl and atk power. Unable to test this)
"I have finished Thistle's Route but there are still locked H-Events for her"
> The two events next to her Masturbation scene are unlocked by ending 5 and 10 respectively.
> The 6 Bandit events you might have missed are unlocked by loosing to Bandit Enemies
outside their headquarter
s. Loosing to them insdie the Headquarters triggers Ending 6.
"I'm unable to unlock Ending 3"
> You need to defeat the Golem after activating all 5 Monuments and then
don't defeat the final Boss within the timelimit
"I want to check if this enemy has a defeat scene but I'm unable to surrender"
> Only Enemies that have a defeat scene allow you to surrender. If the Button is grayed out in combat, loosing won't lead to a defeat event.
Differences in Capucine's Route:
> Capucine only recieves a fraction of magic stones from Gathering, compared to Thistle. This means fighting strong enemies for Magic Stones is a lot more viable. In addition, the ability to turn experience into bookpoints rather than the other way around can come in handy in the late game.
> While Capucine's rewards at the library are different, she generally gets an equivalent spell for any crafting recipe Thistle would have unlocked (for example getting the "supress Arousal" spell instead of the recipe for Sedatives.
> Capucine is unable to craft equipment the way Thistle is. To make up for it, the Merchant stocks a collection of Weapons and Rings. While you are unable to access broken equipment like the Superhuman Ring or Regeneration Ring, you can buy the Cure Ring, Resistance Ring and Four Demons Ring. These are affected by the Discount you can negotiate via H-Scenes. If you are in need of Money, defeat some Bandits.
> As you are unable to craft Magic Gems they are a limited resource. If you want Ending 3 or 4,
be careful to not spend the gems you get from the Bosses at the Library as Thistle
> Capucine's Outfits are located in the same spots as Thistle's. In addition, there is one exclusive Outfit to her hidden in the last Room of the Mirror World,
> Several of Capucine's Endings are triggered by losing to unique enemies. These only appear on her route, have a unique Overworld Sprite and allow you to surrender the fight.
> In case you haven't checked the Recollection Room, Thistle's 4th Ending (which seems to be the "true ending" given the credits, is locked behind Thistle's 4th Ending. As such if you plan to get all Endings, it's probably best to play Thistle's Route first.
I think this should be all that came to mind.
If you think there are things I forgot to mention, please say so.
