I have also thought about it, and in my opinion the picture seems to get taken too early to "contain" Violet. The victim skin is darker, but Evelyn seems to be too young. I think I have shared my thoughts here:

I think everyone is waiting for an "unexpected twist" but probably we have different expectations. I realy don't like Violet, so allowing her to increase the position (I don't know how to name it correctly) might result in much darker stories. The thoughest one I can recall was Violet's Dungeon. To be honest I prefer something closer to:
Carmilla wakes up and scares he shit out of the Evelyn, so she points the finger towards Vi (Broken Trixie is not enough found the auntie). Then things might go in quite new areas.
I am not a good story teller, and I am biased, so...
But one thing won't change soon.

I don't know if Evie influenced Violet, but Vy is a sadistic person with no compassion...I've found a few vignettes where she's more vulnerable, and I'd appreciate a full story where her torturer(s) abuse her mercilessly with as much perversity as she does...you just have to find the right people....

I love the idea that Violet has long been corrupted but started out fairly normal, perhaps bicurious. There may be another clue that verifies this: the way that she has taken Kayla under her wing, both sexually and literally by getting her kicked out of her apartment to house her, creating a form of dependence and furthering their power imbalance. And taking Kayla out on the town to have her strapon fuck anonymous women. Introducing her to BDSM and pain. Installing an app onto Kayla's computer called "Evie's Total Digital Domination". Expanding her relationship boundaries by introducing Evie in. She is doing everything necessary to normalize her extreme lesbian behavior for Kayla and I think that nonconsensual lesbianism is just a step away from where they're already at.
Violet is conceivably passing forward a corruption that was foisted upon her. As a longtime enjoyer of tales on mcstories.com, I'm enthusiastic about this possibility; especially if it means we ever get that prequel.

My theory was that Violet's current, sadistic nature, a possible result of the actions of La Fay women...
the result of hypnosis and alchemical potions.
Let's assume that Violet was an "exam paper" for Evelyn in the exam for drastic changes in the victim's mind...
so Evelyn made herself a "friend"!
Maybe, based on the results of the endings of "Family Values" and ".... to Thief", the "League of Young Detectives" is being formed (Nancy, Trixie... And Freddie?) and the "Tandem of Bitches" to conclude a pact on armed neutrality?
If the "Tandem of Bitches" manages to catch someone from the "League of Young Detectives", then they begin their classic "games"

No matter how it turns out that the "Bitch Tandem" is actually not a "tandem", but a "Master and Puppet"...
We've all been waiting for this. But Sleep deceived everyone. Just took Camille out of the story.
