Meanwhile the tentacles were almost non audible and when I loaded a savegame during this scene, I had music that was instantly fading away. I don't have music outside of scenes.
That's really weird, you can send us your save, we'll see what it might be. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience.
Upd. You can also find out the version of the game you are playing, well, and ideally still would know where you downloaded it.

Can I clarify one point, the sound problem comes from the beginning of the game, or at a certain point?

Good point, but doesn't this tag have a specific template of exactly the old so ugly type. Stukov can certainly be categorized as such, but rather not because of his looks.

Hi, we made a small fix to help you now. All you need to do is add this file to the following directory: /game
To get the fix to take effect, just interact with any object and then it should go back to normal.
As for this bug, we think it's related to the recent update of silencing sound when entering menus. But that's not certain. If you have more information on how it came about etc we would appreciate it.
Upd. But we recommend you to download 0.39 version, which was released just now. Then you will not have any problems.
This was also my guess when I heard it fading out when opening the menu, while trying older saves for the bug. Thanks for the fix. It works.
