I don't want to sound too relentless. I wish Shark all the best and nobody deverse this. Still, I hope he has a contingency plan for this game. Last summer he talked about it. This game is still one of the best and I hope that someone may take over the torch.

Well, lets think about it for a second: He has been reporting his illness for months now, this, in the modern eara, means he is incurable, or they would have already done so by now.

Leaves us with incurable cancer, or something like MS that becomes progressively worse over time because nothing can be done about it. Depending on where he lives it could also be some freaky tropical disease or whatever but it doesn't matter at this point, because if he has been sick without relief for that amount of time that there is a chance it taken him over enough so he is unable te take op the project... or at this point even beyond that point which would be death :(
If you want to make hypotheses, there are hypotheses which are less drastic - there are ilnesses that can be cronic, without being life-endangering.
Nonetheless, all of those cronic yet not life-endangering ilnesses will anyway affect life and work at least to some extent, and some are debilitating enough that despite not being life-threatening, make difficult, in some cases almost impossible, or even really impossible, to have a full-time or a job at all, and if he has one of those conditions, even if it does not stop him from having some kind of job/income, it can still block him from having the energy in the free time left to do the game.
As far as I remember, he had said the game was not his job (in reality, he is not an exception, it is the condition of most game makers on F95, AFAIK), so, if he has to choose, it would be normal he choses the job that gives him some medical coverage, over the work (the game) that may be a hobby and something he likes to do, but that cannot pay him the medical and other bills.
Not all have to do with health problems, but he would not be the first who has to abandon a game because it is a hobby, and events in life get priority, even when not extreme.

That is a lot of text to just say he might not be litterally dead but the project is indeed dead..... so by all accounts.. is he himself not then dead to us/ this site? :ROFLMAO:

Hmm, the people who know me in real life, know I can have a rather dark sense of humour, but no, it is not the same at all.
Your previous post was about him and his health, not about the game.
