So, once I got to a certain progress with India, I just couldn't continue. The Guide said "Talk to Veronica at Model Home", but nothing ever happened. I searched this forum for help, but the only thing I found was advice to use a bugfix that no longer exists, I would attach my save file for example, but I'm afraid I further messed things up by trying to force progress through the F12 console. I may restart the game and see if I can either duplicate the issue, or get past it some other way.

There seems to be a missing check for your first time meeting Veruca at her place.
If you go with enough money but not enough charge you get the "Use the App on her" choice (which just leads to a black screen) as opposed to her 1st scene.

Sorry for the late reply. My job gets manic in the lead up to Christmas. If you have a save to hand post it here, I'll run down the issue and see if I can fix it for you.

What kind of cheats? The cheat version of the game is available to Patreon or Subscribestar members and is delivered as a separate HTML file that replaces the main game file.

But I assume that you are talking about something else, probably how to access the browser console to edit the game variables such as SugarCube.State.variables.charge or SugarCube.State.variables.cash. As far as I know, this is not possible on Joiplay. On the other hand, I have seen some players suggesting to edit a saved game on a PC or using an online editor for Twine saves, giving you as much charge or cash as you want, then loading that on Joiplay.

No, this means that the girl is recruiting strippers (Leah), pornstars (Karlee) or whores (India/Veronica). This is mostly unrelated to the public or private route for that girl.

According to that screenshot you are not playing "Sluttown USA". Instead, you are playing a different game called "Locked Down" by AnonDux.

I guess that you opened the wrong file in the wrong folder after extracting the game from the zip files. Find a folder called "Sluttown USA" and open the index.html file contained in that folder.

Mmm, I say the Xev section needs to be rebalanced, currently:

Suggest she sell herself to her fans [@ computuer pick fan, next day edit/upload video = $50]
or
Keep her for yourself [nothing]

Seems both yield subs @ $3 per sub per week, AND both at suburbs can "Shoot a scene with her" that yields NOTHING!!.

The leading text made it seem like this was profitable venture [w or w/o fans].
Getting NOTHING for "Shoot a scene with her" seems bad.

I suggest you change the ammount for 'fan' video edit/uplaod = $500 instead for the first time, and $50 for repeats.
Aswell as add some sort of bonus to "Shoot a scene with her": Maybe small upfront amount of $50 + extra subs. [[[AS WELL as mention THIS bonus after/end of the "Shoot a scene with her" scenes.]]]

I tend to avoid xev since i had to restart after the kat/romi/jess changes because it only leads to dropps if you want to focus on the new content of updates. So i keep her in suspense until the game is finished ^^
But it makes sense, if she whores herself out to get paid for it while on the private route you dont earn pimp money but also dont have to pay to fuck the whore. The subs pay the same.

Many bugs in the Xev fan meet ups, some of them, during the scene with the fan, the fan's name changes to your avatar and name.

edit: even using incorrect... you/your instead of the fans his/theirs/etc.

Most likely another bug, if you 'learn coding' and manually do it, it does NOT end the day, you can farm it infinite I guess if you wanted too.

perhaps on the screen after you manual code, that shows this image: "Images/Misc/Coding.gif"

You can make the 'FINISH' button end the day... just saying.
