I try to keep the links to the old versions available on TFGames, at least until the files are deleted from the download sites:Anyone have the 0.41 to 0.42 incremental update?
As with all Twine/SugarCube games, the saves exist only in the memory of the browser unless you use "Save to Disk...".i am normally a renpy player, so this may be a basic question, i cant see saves when i relaunch the browser. I am running Opera GX and it seems to be running in a private and\or vpn window (i didn't set it like that, just seems to be the case when i run html games). Are the saves somewhere or are they being flushed because its in a private window? Should i be using a different browser for this sort of thing?
I don't mean to be playing in a private window, it just does that. But knowing i can save to disk and load again is good enough for meAs with all Twine/SugarCube games, the saves exist only in the memory of the browser unless you use "Save to Disk...".
When you play in a private window, your browser flushes its own memory every time you close the window, in order to ensure that your private browsing session will not be accessible to others. All browsers do that to protect your privacy: Opera, Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Safari, etc. If you play in a private/incognito window and you do not want to lose your progress, just make sure that you use "Save to Disk..." at least once before closing your browser window. This will create a file called "sluttown-usa-hometown-corruption-YYYYMMDD-HHMMSS.save" (YYYY=year, MM=month, DD=day, HH=hour, MM=minutes, SS=seconds). You can keep as many of these files as you want (which is great for exploring different routes) and reload them later with the "Load from Disk..." option.
Can you post a copy of your save, I'll give it a look.I cannot get past this:

I think I have it fixed now. Can you give this a go and let me know how you get on? You'll need to sleep once to get it to work.Sure
I only have the India issue now, i could work around the other one

Because of the borked save I think the Guide is a bit wonky for you. If you use that first save you sent me, this is what you need to do.I cannot get past this:

1 Sleep. 2. Chat With Veronica (running into Chase or not doesn’t make a difference.). 3 Talk to India at home. 4. Talk to Veronica. 5. Veronica again. 6. India at home.
I just played through that sequence from the first save you sent and it seems to be working, from there the guide is lined back up correctly.
Oh is that where its getting knocked off track for people? I'm working 12's for the next three days so i wont have time to work on the game, but once I'm off again I'll dig into this and make sure it gets ironed out.As i stated, the problem is the Veronica-Holly event. If you do those steps,, you are correct that its working, but if at any point you do the Veronica-Holly event in the Evening, the game breaks
You have to purposedly avoid that event untill you end with India, that is what its breaking the game
I am worried that doing that even will brek future India events too
Yeah, i could progress with India ignoring the Veronica-Holly event as much as possible. And once i couldnt ignore it anymore (i think it was on India event 33) then everything worked fineOh is that where its getting knocked off track for people?
