Game is probably abandoned. Dev have fews different projects. All of new "games" are onyl fuckfests. This game is ice cold now.
Either it's completely abandoned... or won't get updated until FreeUse is finished
This one hit a writing snag and has been abandoned. I'm not sure why they haven't given it an official tag.

Probably didn't get the abandoned tag, because the mods think he is a great guy. Same as they did with Irredeemable (Teacher's Pets) and IcStor, that didn't have abandoned tag for waaaayyy too long. I will never forgive them for that. Seems like they repeat their mistakes. And the devs homepage is still down, and mods haven't removed the link.

The Patreon still exists and was last updated yesterday.
Thus unless the dev themselves say they will no longer be updating a given game, all games attached to that Patreon account are considered active.
They got stuck in writing after they killed the Secretary. So, they stopped doing it. I've actually offered to write it out of the hole it's in and continue it, but I haven't heard anything. Could be that I'm a bad writer, but who knows.

The saddest thing about this whole Secretary thing is that it was so easily fixable. I'm NOT a writer by any means, but here's just a quick sample of what would I go for:
- MC sees on the news that Anne-Sophie (Secretary) got killed which spooks him out. Is he the next one on the line? What's going to happen to him, since he was involved with her?
- Later that night someone quietly knocks on his door. Unwillingly he carefully opens them to see who it is and immediately recognizes Anne-Sophie who explains to him that she had to fake her own death (for her own safety) with the help of a friend from the police or someone in charge of the crime scene.
- MC invites Anne-Sophie inside and they talk, but it is already too late and they are both too freaked out. She just wants to get some rest so she asks MC to sleep on a couch in the living room. MC sees that as a problem (considering he's not alone in the house), and invites Anne-Sophie upstairs to his room instead, where they sleep together.
- With Anne Sophie in his bed, I suppose a lewd scene right here wouldn't be out of context (or not?) but either way they wake up the next morning forging a plan. A plan to uncover the evil scheme behind VCC and all the unethical testing they've been doing. Or something, IDK. Things are already so much easier at this point & things can lead to just about any direction.
And Dev - if you are reading this, feel free to use anything I wrote for your own story, for as long as you like it. No permission, or even credit is necessary, I just wanted to point out that fixing the storyline can sometimes just be THAT simple as 1-2-3.

Good ideas. I suggested similar to them. That the Secretary isn't actually dead, the woman who had her "killed" was duped by a police officer, a detective, and stand in assassin to capture them. The you can add three new characters, a police station, visits to the arrested women, officers, and assassin. Then move right back to the regular plot line with the medicine and a new CEO of that company and a secretary to replace the first on in protective custody. I def love these ideas. One thing to note... we don't see a body or any real confirmation, just a news broadcast about it. So it's def possible to bring her back. As a sidenote, there is a way to bring her back in the game, but it requires having an in-game ren'py editor. Basically if you change "Anne_so_home=False" to "Anne_so_home=True" you'll be able to access her.
