There are some frame drops for no apparent reason at times. The flow of the game also feels very "choppy" between transitions. The game feels like if you move forward too fast the game is going to shit itself and die or something. While that in itself doesn't quite affect the actual contents of the game, it affects how it feels playing it.What you mean with Laggy? It's about they running slow and use so much CPU?
I've got no solution about it yet.
Anyway a start working with a friend of mine and Follower is completely developped by him ( I just do the renders and check if the built of the game is right) and I hope he can fix that. I think it's something about Unity system.
Anyway I'm trying to do better I start makes game one year ago with the first King odf the Beach and I think the game I'm making now are very better.
Think the content itself is not bad and interesting. Visuals are nice but animations don't seem to be your strong suit. Maybe you're just limited in terms of the game engine. There are other games on Unity like e.g. Something Unlimited which also have performance and transitioning issues, they usually aren't as bad or apparent as this currently.
Could be because of how they do scene changes. For SU it is usually a straight black in and out to the next scene where as in this game you have the motorcycle transitioning scene (even if you don't actually leave the part of the map where you were originally it plays) which slows things down and makes the flaws a little more oblivious. After trying out again I think I've noticed why I feel the game is very "inconsistent". When heading to a place from anywhere there is the transitioning scene. It is very slow compared to the exiting scene which is a straight fade out fade in transition. Makes the different transitions feel very choppy like riding on a bumpy road or someone who doesn't know how to drive a stick and keeps stalling.
I do remember playing your older games and do think they are a step up from the past. Do keep up the good work, am looking forward to your future endeavours.
