I don't know about a part 2 but I know there is going to be a remake. The steam page is already is already up though there is no set release date other than 2024.
Personally I can't wait for it. I love brother/sister stuff. Easily my biggest fetish.

Summer daze it's supposed to be the sequel, but it was stopped to work on the remake that they been doing for MORE THAN 3 YEARS.
I see. Hopefully it comes out this year, though it would be far from the first game I see with a rough estimate on Steam to get pushed back even further.

They don't even show preview, teasers or anything, so no one knows how much of the game is done, and if you ask, they will tell you to go to their discord to ask and you'll get no answers anyway.

Well, recently they released 3 previews with no comment at all, out of nowhere and after so much time being silent. They're here i think, looks some pages back. But besides that, there's no info at all, no progress bar, no monthly log or something, nothing. You can try ask them on their discord, surely you'll get the "they're working on it, be patient" from some white knight in the channel but nothing from the devs itself, and even if you get a dev to answer it would be the same words. If you want to look everything for yourself, just dig on their subscribestar page until you see the announcement of the remake, look how much time went by and look if you can find any post telling something interesting of the project.

The way I see it even in the original game it went from a set number of 2 or 3 artists that did Chibi cutaways, character portraits, and cutscenes, to an ensemble of artists and/or colorists which is where at the end of the OG game the consistency went to hell. Now in this version of the remake, it seems like they have an artist's "department" or whatever and are constantly changing all the old art and designs till the TLC touch-up it was supposed to be, that would lead into the next game has now become this debacle.
