Here is my Android port for with this mod applies. I'm not 100% sure I caught every little nuance of the game, so if there is something that you think I missed please let me know.

She is not dead. At the beginning of Snowstorm you can choose who your LI was in Sandstorm. Later, you'll see her in flashbacks. That's all for now.
And depending on your ending you might be able to return to her. And I haven't played this update yet.
