About the only annoying thing is the 'stat checks' which gate you away from choices, I get that it's part of the gameplay but man is it annoying when you're 1 point away from a threshold. I had to reload old saves alot and make choices I didn't like to get the stats I needed for a particular path.

I know there is many players that refuse to use mods and you probably are one and I understand it, but URM is always a great choice even for players that avoid it at all cost to use mods. It doesn't overwrite any game files and unless you make a very huge mess with variables rarely will bork your saves, may not be the most user friendly at start to use but once you "get it going" like you want it is the best tool there is for renpy games.

It will avoid that frustration you mention about a stat check or variables that aren't enabled because you can remember, monitor and change variables as you want. You don't even have to use it extensively and cheat everything and anything, you can just use it to avoid to backtrack on a save and repeat a bunch of content, it will save you a lot of time.

But again I understand if your stance is to never use mods. I wish you happy gaming. Cheers.

Thankfully, I had so many save files I could go back to specific choices and boost a given stat high enough to clear a 'stat check' later on. I'm kind of worried about future updates because my Int and Dex stats aren't high enough for me to be confident that I'll be able to follow the path I want and I'm paranoid about minor choices (like sex with Talia) having effects later on that ruin my playthrough.

That said, the payoff for my save scumming was worth it. Getting the Sonja and Astrja threesome was absolutely worth the effort. I love these two characters and getting the chance to 'romance' them into a 'loving threesome' was a great outcome. Orginally my choices locked me into Sonja solo but I was able to get Astrja with a bit of save reloading. I'm really hoping I can keep these two until the end. Sure, I'd like to add Yrsa to the mix but I'll be happy so long as I can take Sonja and Astrja as wives.

To compare I have the following data at the end of chapters so far (no cheating, no mods):

I'm sorry to inform you that I always used the original URM that is in the URM thread (not the mod that is in the OP that says 0x52 mod) with Snowstorm and never had any kind of problem and never had any missing content because of it. The problem isn't on the tool, it is on the user that use it incorrectly or install it incorrectly, that is my only assumption.

But if you meant any other game, yes URM isn't foolproof and there is like 1 in 100 games I tried that doesn't work correctly. Also that kind of comment shouldn't be even used here since URM works well with this game, unless your goal was to rile me up lmao what you will never succeed with that kind of reply.

So tell me again why you bring this here? This isn't that game you mention thread right? And I never said that URM hasn't its limits or that is foolproof or its the supreme sum of the game tools on earth lol, I simply gave a suggestion and tried to help that user that with this tool some of those frustrations they faced would be avoided and at the same time I was careful enough to not assume that they were willing to use mods ever because I know some members are sensible about the use of mods and I respect it and those who have that view.

This is a bit of a personal issue of mine: because of all the paths I make a lot of saves. (I have a bad habit of basically making a save whenever I see a render I like.) That means as of 0.7 (last time I played) I had 249 pages of saves. That's on the low end for me for a game. Problem is, on page 77 I have my most recent BB save, on 149 I have my most recent DR save, and on 249 I have my most recent WW save. Clicking between them is... Hard.

I know I have no right to demand such a feature, but could we get a feature where if you control click or right click the page skip arrows you can skip 10x at once?

Sounds like a YOU problem.
If you like an image just press S on your keyboard and you'll get a screenshot (saved in your game folder) now you can put those in another folder and watch them as often as you like
You can even print them and plaster them on your wall in your room.. just saying

Aside from this, I've just finished the BB path, now doing the DR. Does anyone know if this is a bug or not? When I'm at the Yggdrasil tree / secret village and I'm bathing with Elskorla, I'm given several options to back out which will give me Yrsa affinity and she asks me to call her next time I bathe... But she literally just rejected me because I'm the father of Nox's child and gave me the cold shoulder one scene before. I think it's possible that I cheated (I was last on this save back when it came out) to get Yrsa to come along, but even then it could be a bug? Or does that mean there could still be a chance for us?

There may be other alternatives to creating lots of screenshots, but screenshots are probably easier and faster than load and save.
For example there are some tools that can extract images from renpy games to view them all, but since you only like some of them you would have to sort them nonetheless.

To your question, i dont think its a bug, maybe unintentionally forgot to include an extra scene, but since she still should have feelings for the Mc, its hard to tell if there could be another chance with her.

And as far as i remember, the scene after you mentioned can go several ways
1. If you knocked up Nox she wont lay with you "on the hammock"
2. If you didnt reject Fate (no matter which path) she wont lay with you ""
3. If you rejected Fate (while sitting on the tree or even before) and not on Nox preg path, she will lay with you ""

So while on Nox path she "tries" to keep her distance from you but you can still earn points with her

Personally, i wish for a happy ending with a full harem path with the other clan girls too, but unfortunately that wont happen

I'm an over saver too, but I do mine in folders. For example, If I'm doing WW path, I move the BB saves out and put the WW ones in. Then take the WW ones out and put the DR ones to do that path. It means I have a lot less to scroll through and can start each path from the place I finished it.

So, I've found a problem. I tried a playthrough where I sided with the White Wolves, but I wanted to only romance Liz. After the training exhibition when you get knocked out, you are given choices of who to imagine, and every single one is grayed out, leaving you stuck.

Hmm, i just finished the latest update and have many more questions now. I guess Astrja was my first path when i started so long ago because it was the base introduction and it was a while since i did anything WW in a long while, so i had forgotten choices i made. It's nice to see diverging stories depending on your faction. I was very surprised that you actually try and reverse Hardrada's loss and actually DO go to war for real, as opposed to my main path with the BB where you actually use your knowledge to get rid of most of the WW warriors by letting go to war alone. Since i hadn't played the first game beforehand (which i did about 3 of this game's updates ago), i guess i had picked a girl at random from the previous game, as i was very surprised to see Marion as the general who's basically doing the same thing as us and feeding the English army information to wipe out the Vikings. I didn't see any of the girls in my other playthroughs, tho if i remember, with my DR path i picked no one as i hadn't played Sandstorm, and with BB i had picked the dancer/rebel queen girl. Did anyone do the same path as me, but with a different girl? Is any of the previous girls automatically get the general position, or do they have different roles depending on who it is?

Now, did only your selected girl from the previous game followed you through the portal, all of them? If all, will you save/meet them before leaving or will only your chosen one get helped and the other ones left to their fates when we leave? Because for sure we will meet her, as the game needs drama, especially since this whole episode you keep getting constantly reminded of what would you do if you met her again or could go back to your world. Also, will your chosen girl from this game also follow you through the gate for the next one? Will it be with or without your chosen girl from the first game? It would make the branching infernal. I just hope it doesnt end up being a dream in the end, that would majorly sucks. Also, who will be the god that is Candrid's father or mother? It has to be one, as Astrja's is Skadi, Nox is Njord's and we now know for a fact you need divine spark to cross the gate.

I am neutral on the WW path, as except Mathilda, the sisters aren't really my cup of tea and i didnt like Sonja's pussyfication which even made me unvote her in the OP's poll, but this update was actually better than the last one, which only felt like a cheating simulator in the magical land of the communist creatures and being constantly scolded in every single Yrsa scene, which made me dislike her a lot. She just became insuferable. We do actually get much lore.

All in all, i like this game much better than the last one. The girls for me are overall better and more varied, the Viking/snow theme suits me more than the desert rebel/explorator theme and after trying/reading comments, the "evil" path here makes more sense according to the world we are in and is way less harsh and the MC ,much less cruel but more cunning. I will be really sad when i am forced to leave my wife Candrid and need to wait X more years in the series finale to reunite with her.

Also, what is left chapter wise? One or two last ones combined to wrap up, another for each faction or more? If work is being made towards the next game, i'd assume fewer than more?

Wait, what? My game ends just as we arrive. Is the android version behind the PC version, or something?

Edit: nevermind, I just speed ran a WW playthrough and saw the LI from the previous game at the end.
