You suck ass, are lame and not optimised at all.

Also, get a better PC - running a mod like this on a toaster will not suffice.
Lil bro, i just checked your comments, you seem to be agro about anything, go touch some grass, and HornyLex is right, the game runs like dog water, and it's on unity, the dev is lazy and could optimise it properly, with all the money he made on his patreon, he would have done a better job if spend it properly on learning about how to make videogames, end of story.

Story never ends lol

Games smooth af on my end, have no complaints...yeah its not perfect and also where can we see him actually receiving the said income that's noted on his Patreon? Last he was active there was Aug 2023...

People always throw this without a source...I'm just curious about it too because I'm not sure where y'all see he's actually cashing out unless people are willingly paying him (that's their choice)...
Patreon says "$540/month", but does that actually mean he's receiving this now? or was that a measurement of a time he made some income?

Also with how complicated people make this game out to be (either because of themselves or their pc specs) how much would it cost a single person to do what he did?

Because imo he did a fkn crazy job alone for what it is; and I'm not mad about the little bugs I find here and there, my old "semi potato PC" has no issues with it, although I do run it on lower settings it still looks and plays just fine.

I've even tried finding a replacement with no luck; and I've tried all the recommendations on here and non really stuck with me like SMA does...so until then, I'm keeping my version and setup.

CPU - old i7 7700k Kaby Lake
RTX 2060 6gb
16gh RAM

I can share my settings if anyone has a similar build, I also configured my Nvidia Control Panel.

Is there any way to unbind or delete the (Y) Sluttify and (O) Orgasm options from Monkey?

I'm trying to play the homework mod and it's great, but I keep accidentally hitting the Y key and ruining all progress with a model. Gets frustrating trying to do a slow-burn corruption kind of modeling session and Monkey is just turning the woman into a succubus demon because I tried typing "how are you?" in the natural dialogue window but forgot to hit Enter first (as an example, lol)

I tried editing the monkey_configuration.xml and changing those to keys that I can't press accidentally (like & or ^ or %) but the game won't load when I do this and hangs when initializing Monkey. Removing the entries entirely from that xml file doesn't seem to change anything.

Any help in unbinding them or disabling these two options would be appreciated. (I searched the documentation and thread before posting: the terms "unbind" or "sluttify" don't show up in Monkey docs, and no results when searching this thread for "unbind" either)

-==-==-

EDIT: It figures. As soon as I post this comment I realize my mistake. If you want to rebind these you need to use the right "KeyCodes" recognized by Unity. My attempts above to use symbol characters was incorrect because I wasn't using the right KeyCodes.

I was able to successfully rebind these in monkey_configuration.xml to LeftBracket and RightBracket. Thora had a note about this in Monkey_readme.txt (not the json readme) but I didn't notice it until I searched a second time for "bind" - entirely my mistake.

The Unity KeyCode documentation list is linked in that readme but here it is for reference too: <-- from this list, find the key you want to rebind one of these Monkey options to and use their code for it in monkey_configuration.xml, replacing the old keybind.

Attached pic showing successfully rebound keys: (ignore the wraparound text cutoff) 1737657886441.png

Leaving my comment here in case anyone in the future struggles with this too. Hope this helps--otherwise, this comment serves as a reminder to all: the answers you're looking for are probably right in front of you in the readme file you've neglected to actually read thoroughly (like I just did, lol)

tl;dr - it was a PEBKAC error (Problem Exists Between Keyboard and Chair) - also known as an ID10T error code :HideThePain:

I mean, I'm not so pathetic that I need to go crawling through another users post history to decide how I wish to respond to a comment but, you do you.

Go upgrade your PC while you're at it.

The biggest issue is that the dev has been away for a long time, and people continue to let their subs run.

Ultimately, it's their choice - they know what they're doing and paying for. If they wish to continue a developer in hopes that they may one day return, that's their choice. Personally, I don't care. I stopped subbing a while back because of 3 months no activity - some users are still subbed after almost a year of no activity.

In any event, it's a shame that TValle has not made an update - but I remain hopeful that he comes back one day. As for the mod, it runs perfect on my machine too. So I don't understand, unless people are running this on their toaster, I see no reason as to the complaints.

People just wanna complain, at least that's how it seems to me.

So? what need to do?
Look I extract the game from the archive into a folder I made on my desktop, then I open the folder of the mood and took all the files in that folder and put it in the new folder that I made for the game, there.

Like he said, "RTFM" duh.

It works if you follow the manual, ffs.

It's not really rocket science, it's basic shit!
Unless your dumb like me, then might has well be rocket science.

I still don’t understand, nothing is happening.
I tried pasting into the root folder, into other folders and nothing happens. I read the instructions until my eyes turn red and apparently my English is too bad to understand, and the translator is translating incorrectly.
Can you send me a screenshot of instructions in a private message?

yes, but the problem is understanding the folder names.
in fact, I’m doing as told, but it seems like I’m missing something

So I went through all my files to double check how the hell I installed everything; and it was as simple as dropping all the additional folders into the "main SMA folder" that was extracted from its zip file (a few people already stated this)....

I included two very basic pictures...First picture shows the main zip file you should extract first (into a place you can remember), Second picture shows how everything should look after dropping all those zipped folders into the main one...Also the second picture highlights the application (.exe) that you run to start the game.

If this doesn't work for you, I suggest upgrading your windows video drivers or dedicated graphics card drivers (or PC)
