Thora is working on an update that should be done "by the weekend". however, he has also stated it might not have all features, and there may be bugs/broken things. he has said he will resume full work on the mod properly *after this small update to add a few basic functions back to the mod, Not all* that once TValle starts regularly updating the game again, he will resume full steam ahead on the mod again

Its a bug i encountered as well. Sometimes in the photo studio pressing tab dosent bring any menu and you have to quit and reload the game. Is not very common but it happened to me about 3 times.
If you have monkey mod you can just make them orgasm O button and work from there to get green bar up fast or slut option works but makes hiring price go up
Yeah, I have that, too. It works on the first model, then every subsequent model, there is no arousal gain for the MC. Saving, going to main menu and loading again resets it, but it's really annoying like this.
Note: The quote is examplatory but showcases my point.
Everyone thinks their idea of "what a game is" or even specific "what this game should be like" is the only valid opinion. Guess what, that's why all the different genres emerged. And if your ideas don't line up with this game no one forces you to play it. Sure, that might feels like a personal loss and I am sorry for you.
TLDR:
There are two problems imo that are closely related:
1. The game had complex mechanics before and it feels like the complexity increased without propper (or might say any) documentation and explanation.
2. Systems are interdependant but only partially reworked or implemented at all. (Like the new attributes that you can't raise after character creation, but beeing unattractive and having a micro penis isn't working)
This create the feeling of a broken update that was never intended to be played for the pleasure of playing (or fapping).
Treat it as a dev log showing that the game has not been abandoned and giving a peek at whats to come.
My best guess of what the dev aims to achieve:
A more trainer like experience where you build your own squad (or harem, or bordell) to your liking, including studio reputation.
By that you build a connection to the models and that is (imo) one of the main factors we trend to this kind of pornograhpy or we would all play only bordell sims where you fuck everyone whenever you want (or visit one irl).
Some tips to actually enjoy what is there:
Use cheat engine to max out starting attributes (except penis, one or two from max is enough but do as you like). Search for type "4 bytes" and exact value. Start without any points attributed and search for 6, then repeat scans with changed values until you narrowed it down to one. Create a cheap campaign, save (best before every interview, sometimes you can't get an erection and restarting the interview after loading is a temporary fix) and invite a model. Look up your balance in the agency info (use tab or the pc) and make a exact search for the value with type "float" (1,565.65$ can be looked up as 1565.65), then tip the model and exact search for the new balance (old balance minus 50) if she accepted the tip. Once you found the correct memory address you can set it to 999999 so you never have to worry about money again.
Now you can buy and test the new locations (at the weekend only if I remember correctly).
If you want easier woman run the most expensive campaign. No amateurs and most of them are willing to do lingery or even erotic shootings from the get go. Giving them a higher weekly salary and higher provisions give a buff to them liking you like attractiveness does. With money solved you can easily buy affection as long as you don't go overboard with payments and the actual amount of employed models.
Do in house "shootings" (aka training sessions) to work with your models. The dialog when sending them home implies some development, but I didn't put the time in yet to see if they actually progress. I ended up paying them for services, but they still never performed oral even though agreed on.
And for everyone complaining about single interviews beeing gone: You can invite saved models (I guess only while having an active campaign but not sure here) from your pc for a fee of 500$. Yes I know that is not exactly what was the single interview before but at least you can invite the models you want.
Lastly about monkey: You can still used the "old" version to make them cum at an instance and for free cam.

Very well written (no). Everyone has their own opinion blah blah blah blah..... There are some things that have to make sense. Simply because that's how life works. There are NONE of them in the game. It's impossible to play it and enjoy it. People play games to have fun (whatever that may be), not to suffer. There is enough suffering in life as well.
Ahh, finally the Game!
I really don't get all the whines about the changes. The game is about agency, with ability to have have sex as a final and hard-achieving goal. It must be hard, otherwise the emotions of gain would be very poor.
All those years the game was a technodemo of final part. With tons of whines here like "but we want game". Now it is. So what the heck?
It is nice to start on the street with a few bucks as a beggar and move to the shining office. Why would you expect girls to let you get them near the trash box?.. yes, they fear you, if you come closer, and they fear much more when you undress yourself or her. This part is absolutely OK.
Find a proper girl, both beautiful and willing (and lusty!), is a luck, it's a gem you trying to create with rating stages, then uncover and catch - and polish lately. This conception is perfect!
Now you don't need to endlessly stuck within groups, forgetting of what you have creating in each. Now it is onegroup, and you can always drop and restart, may be even not bothering with raiting, or making it fast just by glancing at photos and stats, making fast money by sending in easy agency like royal or plus size. This is awesome!
The only whines right now should be about mid-late game and details, bugs and like that. I, personally, don't like the light (except the first street location, it is nice). Game obviously will have a lot of new items, inventory, decorations etc., but the most important and most hard part of the game - it's conception - is nice right now! TVally really knows what he is doing.
Some starter tips:
At start, don't expect you can do anything.
If she goes angry of fear - get a few steps back. Don't speak rude, even if she is.
If you need money, just send girls to agencies you can easily identify. It is plus size (for fatty) and royal (for afro). They can be easily selected by photos. Respectful and honest (you should read resume about those stats) are for offices and bars. If she refuse, don't insist (otherwise she may ignore and you'll get punished), send to "some other agency", it accepts anyone. Each successful sending will increase bonus percentage gain permanentry, and it is saved. This is your way for money and better companies. I didn't tryed the one for 5mil, but is seems to have much more potent girls =)
Save often, use reloading if you really need to try her everywhere in searching of the hot-points, why not =)
