• Amrit is... ok, but the competitive part of me, keeps thinking screwing her will have negative repercussions on her career.
• Vi is... the lil sister, regardless of how she might actually feel, my Valentine sees her as his little sister (also not a fan of her face tbh)
• Ines is the better looking of the 3 kids (not even close imo), but a bit "bland"? Getting better towards the end, but still.

Women

• Kana I like, not the hottest looking, but at the very least she shares something with the MC, problem is despite the content she feels a bit like a side girl?
• Elspeth... my least favourite of all, by far, sure big boobas, nice face, redhair, but don't like her constant nagging, and like even less how she treats Alistair, her supposed "long time friend", the "PTSD/conflicted card" isn;t enough to justify her constant behaviour, she's also the one that feels most forced on Valentine.

Side Affairs

• Ring girls, hot scenes, but they are what they are.
• Katie... eh she's what she is, but good for some cookies and quick sex.

Just a basic how you like your women kinda choice. Probably Alters the way she behaves in the next book. She is a really hot character. Personally I just dislike the virgin girl thing, but I have to admit she is definitely the 2nd most attractive to me.

She would never do this to him. Saying this kind of just shows you don't understand her character. She would have his back through anything. Interesting you interpreted her this way. Multiple times she praises his selflessness and good qualities. It is just playful mockery. If anything she is jealous in a way of how much of a good guy he is, cause she sees herself negatively as a murderer.

Totally agree, I don't think she'd try to intentionally hurt Alistair, it's clear that no matter what she loves him (as I said she loves him like a puppy), but showing him how she managed to shag random girl/man X before him? Oh absolutely.
(I don;t think it's officially confirmed he's gay, but yes either that or what? He has some injury/trauma that cuased erectile disfunction or emotional issues?)

But that's her main trait, she is a dominant person with a "winning mentality", who also due to her trauma never managed to realize how you can be a good person while being dominant, and that having committed something horrible doesn't preclude the possibility of redemption...

Want me to be blunt? She's the female version of Davis, but while one (for what we can see) decided he was fine with it, she instead decided to try and change.

She quite possibly is the female Davis though her reasoning might not be as noble.

It's also possible she's doing what is expected of her.
The why of which could be either because of duty or perception by the family; maybe a mix of both.

As i could see a potential path forming where if MC goes the infamy route she interprets it as the go ahead to be the killer.

Though could be completely off base as it's also quite possible that she's heading towards crisis as she's escalating quite rapidly:
- first time she watched a fight of MC she was distressed.
- second time she helped with the warm-up.
- third time she was a cornerman.
- after the fight she was more then happy to escalate the beach fight.


On a related note I'm somewhat annoyed that MC seemingly hasn't picked up on her technical knowledge of hand-to-hand combat as she seems to know too much for her (implied) station.
- She noticed the opponents ribs in the third fight; while Alistair seemingly didn't.
- The way she spoke to the douche once on the ground during the beach fight.

It could also be setup for a reverse uno MC might get to pull later on but with the knowledge and experience MC has he should've been able to pick up on it.

I mean as I said in my post that upset some Elspeth's aficionados, she's clearly central to the "main" storyline, meaning the women snooping into Valentine's info, that's why she's forced onto us, to keep the story going.

Valentine actually makes comments about her, it's just that we don't get to take action on it, else that part of the story would rush to an end.

He questions her questioning after the garage scene, he does it again at the center, and later on during the movie scene, "problem" (so to speak) is, that Valentine is forced to take part in all of those scenes.

In example no matter how "badly" you have treated/upset her, Valentine still ends up going to the cinema with her, ends up holding hands, snuggling once outside, and the only real choice left is if to kiss her or not at the tube's station.

She, like Vi (and to a lesser extent Amrit for the fighting side) is central to the story so that's how it goes.

She was a special forces intel officer. Everyone in the military gets trained somewhat in hand to hand combat. Especially the officer class. Some take it further than others. She clearly has a talent for combat. Obviously she has some history of killing someone in cold blood that has yet to be revealed fully.
Valentine doesn't question her on this cause he understands this basic military knowledge. Even the guy that works in the kitchen in the military gets trained to use a gun and basic combat skills just in case the base gets attacked or something. Sometimes they suck at it regardless. They are not required to be really good at it. Just good enough to pass on the basics.

If Els was M.I., that just makes me wonder if there was any chance in hell that it was her/her people that made the call that got Zahra taken out. Because that's exactly the kind of tropey thing a lot of games would do.

That is a possibility. I am leaning more towards she actually ended up killing Annie or someone she was friends with because she had too. They became a liability or went AWOL and turned traitor because they disagreed with the methods. She used that gurkhas knife she has in her apartment to do it. It probably became the catalyst to trying to become a pacifist and trying to be better. That is my educated guess anyways.

It's a really great game, with really hot girls, but if you find yourself overwhelmed just know that this is a heavy one to start with, and there are lots of lighter, more 'fun' ones out there.

Thanks for the heads up! I’m actually really enjoying this game so far. I honestly didn’t expect an adult visual novel to be this story driven, emotional, and detailed. The characters are way more well written than I expected, and it’s completely changed how I look at adult VNs as a whole. I’m definitely hooked now.
