But, since you brought it up yourself: Yeah, this is dev milking. Plain and simple. They're treating these as standalones and they're being delivered in place of content updates, per their own words.
And, if you know anything about Ren'py coding, you know batch porting is just a stall tactic to drip feed releases. Once the foundation's coded out then it's largely just copy/pasting and applying minor edits (and you need that foundation before you can port anything).
The differential between a batch of scenes and every scene is barely existent, it doesn't need to be broken up into releases spread out over months at a time. Devs who do this are doing it in bad faith.
It's not a valid course of action because this is a piracy site. And you don't seem to notice that argument was never about buying games in the first place, it's a fallacy used to indirectly tell people to go away instead of voicing criticisms.
