The game aspect is also no competition. SU does not have many gameplay elements, it's mostly a 'visit the right place for the right cutscene' run. SS has puzzles, exploration, more meaningful cash grind and clearer objectives to work towards.

imo, SS is the better GAME, SU is the better porn. nuff said.

Personally, I don't want any gameplay mechanics added. I don't get why people want gameplay mechanics. I play for the art, not the grind.

Plus, any time spent adding these gameplay mechanics takes time away from drawing new assets


If I wanted to play a fun dc game I would play arkham knight. If I wanted to play a puzzle game I would play a lego game.

I think again he's just doing damage control so that he doesn't loses another bunch of patreons all at once. Which will happen anyways in my opinion.

Despite them aiming for a release on February 28th, a look at their Patreon history would have made it clear that the update wouldn't be out in the first half of this month, and that we should alter our expectations accordingly.

2020 releases:

• 2.2.6 - 10 days late
• 2.2.7 - 16 days late
• 2.2.8 - 15 days late
• 2.2.9 - 15 days late
• 2.3 - 30 days late

They spent 20 days (!) dropping teasers, taking up half of this month. Someone said that the update could drop on April 1st, that aint no April Fools' joke but an actual credible guess.

If he actually released on schedule he coulda done two more releases in 2020, that's four months wasted, or 20 dollars if you're a patron, with that money you can buy a good ass indie game and support a developer that actually deserves it.
